Kaunis, tilava mökki, vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä rannalta (lapsiystävällinen)

Talo on muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä rannalta toiselle ja muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä kaikista ravintoloista ja baareista toisille.

Viehättävällä, mutta tilavalla mökillä on upea luonne vuosisadan vanhassa suunnittelussa, puupaneelilla varustettu ruokasali ja suuri eristäytynyt puutarha. Siellä on 3 ihanaa kahden hengen makuuhuonetta, joissa voi majoittua jopa kuusi ja mahdollisuus 2 lisävuodetta sänkyyn. Ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on kaksi päämakuuhuonetta ja kylpyhuone (kylpyammeella ja suihkulla) sekä erillinen wc. Makuuhuoneessa edestä on upeat merinäköalat ja takana oleva makuuhuone näyttää kauniista, eristäytyneestä puutarhastamme. Alakerrassa on ruokasali, olohuone, keittiö, jossa lisäksi pieni ruokasali, upouusi alakerran suihkuhuone ja toinen erillinen wc. Makuuhuone numero 3 löytyy myös pohjakerroksesta, pienen 'aurinkohuoneemme' kautta kiinteistön takaosaa kohti. Olohuoneessa on TV ja DVD ja ilmainen WiFi.

Talo sijaitsee kauniissa porrastetussa puutarhassa, jossa on kypsät pensaat ja (hedelmä) puut, joissa on keinut, saha ja paljon leluja lapsille sekä kirjoja ja DVD-levyjä kaiken ikäisille. On ihana aurinko ansa al-fresco ruokailutila, joka täydentää loma tunne. Toivomme, että arvostat kotisi viehätysvoimaa yhtä paljon kuin me.

Huomaa, että talossa on useita kerroksia ja tasoja pohjakerroksessa, joten se ei sovellu pyörätuolin käyttäjille.

Great house for a family holiday

Lovely family feel to the house. Good location, very well equipped, clean and homely. Easy walk down to the beach at Stone Bay or into Broadstairs for Viking Bay. Owners helpful and quick to respond.

Fantastic Holiday Residence

This property completely lived up to the information and other reviews posted here. We really enjoyed our stay here and the house had every feature you could wish for. It was clean, spacious and bright, and in a very good location for a young family day-trippingto the seaside. Highly recommended - we will DEFINITELY be back!

Perfect Holiday Home in a Great Location

Wow! We usually head for the West Country or Wales for holidays. We absolutely loved charming Broadstairs and the Kent coast. We were all delighted with our stay in this beautiful home. We loved the garden, the space in the house. It was so well appointed. We were all impressed and would love to stay again next time we are Broadstairs bound. So many happy memories from our weeks stay.

Lovely Broadstairs, fab accommodation.

The photographs of Sandy Bay Cottage don't really do this beautiful spacious house justice. Well equipped full of character and lots of room for three generations of family, although not suitable for people with walking difficulties due to a couple of big steps leading into the downstairs bedroom and steps into the downstairs toilet. Lovely big bedrooms the front one overlooking the sea. 10 minute walk to Stoney Bay Beach down some steps, 15 -20 minutes walk to Broadstairs and Broadstairs beach very handy shop called Victory News on the way. Lovely seating area and Bbq in the garden. Highly recommend.

A wonderful time

Hullo Roger: As I mentioned in a text to you before I left England, I would provide more feedback on your property, once I returned to the US, and here I am. Firstly we had a marvelous time. The property was larger and I expected, and secluded from the other homes. The street was quiet. Each of the three bedrooms were spacious and light. The large bathroom upstairs was wonderful. There was always plenty of hot water for the showers, the dishwasher, and the washing machine. I did have to ask my niece how to operate the dryer when that light kept going on. Once she explained that the dryer was not vented outside and the reservoir had to be emptied, it was smooth sailing. We all loved the amount of space, with a large lounge with loads of toys, and the lovely dining room. My grandchildren, and other children that visited us made great use of the toys, as well as the lovely sloping garden. The swings were put to good use. I did have family visiting and we sat outside – I was unable to find the seat cushions for the chairs, but we used the benches anyway. All appliances worked well. We followed your directions to the beach and into town, and each walk was pleasant. For our larger shopping we did go to Sainsbury, just an 8-minute drive. I always rent a vehicle when I go back to England each year, but this time it was a bigger one -a van – and my son really enjoyed driving around the streets. My girls found a friend in the downstairs toilet, behind the toilet itself. They named it Tom, I wanted to name it Ralph, but they won that toss. Each day the girls would look for Tom and let me know if it was in or out. The section joining the kitchen to the bedroom on the ground floor was perfect for drying clothes as the sun came through most of the day and in fact it got quite hot. Your neighbour came over to assist with getting the rubbish to the curb, so thank you for that. The only snag was the regular rubbish bin was almost full on our arrival, and that pick up did not occur during our stay. When we left we had several large plastic bags of regular rubbish which were put beside the bins. All in all we had a super time, and would definitely book again. Not next year but in a few years.

Perfect holiday home for families by the sea with garden

As grandparents (from Germany), parents from London with their two-sear-old twins we enjoyed a perfect holiday week. We have never com across such a well equipped, clean and lovingly prepared holiday home before. The owner was extremely helpful when preparing our stay. There was an immediate answer to every question. Als Großeltern (aus Deutschland), Eltern aus London mit ihren zwei Jahre alten Zwillingen haben wir eine perfekte Urlaubswoche genossen. Wir haben noch nie ein so gut ausgestattetes, sauberes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus angetroffen. Die Eigentümer waren bei der Vorbereitung unseres Aufenthaltes äußerst hilfsbereit. Auf jede Frage gab es sofort eine Antwort. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen und wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen. Broadstairs ist ein richtig schönes englisches Seebad!

Gut gelegenes geräumiges Haus in Strand- und Ortsnähe

Wir haben unseren Sommerurlaub in Broadstaires verbracht und waren von dem Ort und der Gegend mit den vielen hübschen Buchten sehr begeistert. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr nett, schon im Vorhinein wurden uns Tipps gegeben und Fragen beantwortet. Auch bei Problemen vor Ort wurde schnell reagiert und geholfen. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und ein gepflegter Garten mit Terasse schließt sich direkt an. Wir hatten ein wenig Pech, dass die Vormieter die Küche nicht so verlassen haben, wie man sich das als nachfolgender Feriengast wünscht und die Reinigungsfirma hat dies leider nicht bemerkt, weswegen die Sauberkeit der Küche für uns nicht zufriedenstellend war.

Wir haben die Woche in dem maritim und mit viel Liebe zum Detail dekorierten Haus sehr genossen. Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Es gibt drei geräumige Schlafzimmer. Highlights sind der Garten, der stilvolle Dining Room sowie der Blick aufs Meer vom vorderen Schlafzimmer. We‘d love to come back. :)

Gemütliches Häuschen

Wir haben mit unserer Familie eine Woche in diesem Haus verbracht. Das Haus ist groß und gemütlich mit drei großen Schlafzimmern. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, der Garten ist ebenfalls groß und nicht von außen einsehbar, sodass man wirklich ungestört ist. Die Straße ist ruhig. Bis zum Strand sind es nur ein paar Gehminuten. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen und können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen :)

Getaway to Kent

This is a spacious house with excellent furnishing and well equipped kitchen, easy to use cooker. Ideally situated for walking into Broadstairs for an evening meal or lunch, and with a short walk from the house to Stone Bay but steps down to the beach. The only thing lacking were bath mats and hand towels in the toilets, otherwise superb. Many thanks for the use of, would definitely return.

Sandy Bay Cottage

The cottage was very nice and in a very good area of Broadstairs. There wasn’t a checkin-process, we picked up the key from a special place. We didn’t have any communication with the property manager. However we did feel overall it needed some TLC.

Geräumiges Haus in ruhiger Umgebung

Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Das Haus ist wirklich sehr groß und mit zwei Familien kann man sich gut verteilen, da ein Schlafzimmer im hinteren Bereich liegt. Der Garten ist bei schönem Wetter super für die Kinder mit Schaukel und Wippe. In zehn Minuten ist man in Broadstairs zu Fuß und zum Bahnhof sind es 15 Minuten. Eine Bushaltestelle gibt es auch in der Nähe. Wir würden sehr gerne nochmal wiederkommen.

A beautifully presented house, close to the beach and the shops.

We have had a lovely holiday in Broadstairs and Sandy Bay cottage is located brilliantly, close enough to walk to the beach but far enough away from the bustle of the town to be relaxing.

Great seaside house

Very relaxing holiday with fantastic sunny weather all week. House is excellent and very homely and comfortable, and well situated for the lovely sandy beach at Stone Bay and only 10 mins walk to Broadstairs town centre, with a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, so great for both families and seniors. There are plenty of other bays to explore and lots of seaside towns close by. We really liked Sandwich with all the old houses and visited Walmer Castle which has a lovely garden.

Très agréable séjour dans cette confortable maison

La maison est très cosy, spacieuse et très calme. Les lits sont très confortables. Le jardin est très agréable et spacieux aussi ! La plage est proche à pieds et assez large. Le village, 10 Minutes à pieds comprend tout ce dont on a besoin.

Wunderschöne Weihnachtsferien in Broadstairs

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in Broadstairs und im Sandy Bay Cottage. Das Cottage liegt ca. 5 Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt und bietet aus dem Master Bedroom einen fantastischen Blick auf's Meer und die atemberaubenden Sonnenaufgänge. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber, perfekt ausgestattet und bot in unserem Fall großzügigen Platz für 6 Erwachsene und ein Kleinkind. Der Stadtkern sowie Supermärkte und Pubs sind in 10 Gehminuten zu erreichen, größere Einkaufszentren und Superstores in 10 Autominuten. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr freundlich und es hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Wir kommen gerne wieder! :-)

We are a family from London who loves coming to stay in Broadstairs whenever possible. Our twin-girls always squeal with delight when we tell them that they will be going to the beach, building sand castles, paddling in the sea and having an ice-cream on the promenade - no matter what time of year it is. We fell in love with Broadstairs many years ago (we actually got engaged here!) and then our dream came true when we stumbled across this idyllic cottage in 2009.
