My name is Aoife, from Ireland, and I have been living in Spain since 2001. My first three years were in a small town in the north of Spain, but having spent a Christmas here, al fresco dining and sun shining, in December, I made the move south in 2004 and have been here ever since! I am a teacher in a local school and my husband and I decided to start our rental apartments in 2020 to offer guests a comfortable stay, close to the beach.
Why they chose this property
The property is right by our own apartment and I had known the previous owners for many years; therefore, when the property came up for purchase, it made perfect sense to buy and refurb it ourselves. I love living here! It's an outdoors lifestyle and if you like sports, as I do, it really is the best place to be. Likewise, if you like eating out, as we both do, San Pedro has a network of bars and restaurants to try out.
We have taken great care to ensure our studio apartments are comfortable, well-equipped and have a homely feel to them. We provide bed linen, towels and terrace towels. We also provide basics such as shampoo, shower gel, soap and cleaning products.

What makes this property unique
What I love most about this property is the Spanish courtyard! Both Darrell and I are amateur gardeners but we really wanted to grow fruit trees as a homage to the region's horticultural ancestry. Although it is has been a case of trial and error, we have an orange tree, a pomegranate tree, and a wonderful olive tree, definitely the star of the courtyard! I think the vegetation is relaxing and makes you feel that you are in Andalucia!
