Ideal rural location for beaches, hills, forests, waterfalls and town

Located in the scenic Vale of Clarach within the Dyfi Biosphere (www.dyfibiosphere.wales) and Wales' sunnier, drier coastal area. Less than 10 mins by car from Borth & Clarach beaches or Aberystwyth's great range of shops and amenities and 10 mins walk from a pub, shop, bus stop and train station, offering low impact ways to get here and around. Ynyslas dunes or Cambrian Mountain walking/biking: 15 mins, Snowdonia: 25 mins. Almost all Ceredigion's incredible range of sights and experiences within an hour's drive and most of Wales' within two. Free parking.

It was a lovely stay. Owners leave you to it, which suits me because I'm shy.

Excellent

Very quiet with lots of wildlife which was perfect for us, we are familiar to the area and lived not too far away once. Allways nice to come back and go visiting.

Lovely stay just outside Aberystwyth

We loved our accommodation, I don't think the pictures did it justice. The caravan had everything we needed and it was perfectly clean. We were at walking distance from Bow Street and from the beach, which was only half an hour away. The only minor issue we had was with the single beds, which were quite springy but other than that we were very happy. Would recommend

Thanks for your review Elena. We're glad you appreciated being able to walk to a range of amenities and the beach - it's a great place for both relaxing and more active holidays. Hope to see you again.

Second stay in this property after a first visit a few years ago. Nice, clean, no frills caravan within easy striking distance of Aberystwyth, Ynyslas and Aberdyfi. In a quiet corner, surrounded by farm buildings with a few other campers on other parts of the grounds.

We had a great time at the caravan.Everything we need was provided for out comfort.Heating, comfortable beds, throws. Very practical to have a panel of ideas of places to go or ETA or things to visit. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful! We'll do it again!

Caravan in Tirymynach.

The van was clean, tidy, but rather basic. In a good location but unprepossing site. It’s benefit was adjacency to beaches and sites of interest, plus the town of Aberystwyth. Information on the area was minimal and there were no instructions on using the “smart” tv, which even the owner couldn’t resolve, consequently was able to watch only two channels!

Thanks for your review. Facilities are clearly listed on VRBO so there should be no surprises about lack of a microwave, for example, if your noting this is what you’re referring to as ‘basic’. People tend to like that the accommodation isn’t on a busy caravan park, so it’s unfortunate that this aspect didn’t suit you. We’re glad you appreciated our proximity to a wide range of entertainment, beaches and Aberystwyth though. It’s a shame you didn’t also notice the information on the local area in our information folder or ask us for recommendations as many others have. We’re very happy to share our experience of the local area. It feels a little unfair to criticise the Smart TV after we spent so long talking you through it and setting things up for you as it isn’t what you are used to. We find people like the availability of Netflix, YouTube, Amazon etc alongside the more traditional channels. Again, we’re sorry this didn’t suit you. I would have spent more time to resolve the Live ITV Hub channel issue for you at the time if you hadn’t told me it didn’t matter.

My holiday

IT was incredible, I didn't know that anywhere is so picturesque wherever you drive. Locally beautiful walks. Lakes safe to swim in and beaches local. I loved it and it was my first holiday in Wales xx

Great location!

Had a wonderful time away. Check in was a bit confusing, but I think that’s the websites fault as no details could be found how to access the accommodation. Which meant when we arrived we had pulled up outside someone’s house, so was a bit confusing. Area is beautiful, definitely would stay here again, but for longer. Friendly people, who gave us lots of tips on where to go. Caravan was clean and beds comfortable! Pictures do not do this place justice, it’s absolutely beautiful. Only down side of the trip was being hurried along to leave the caravan, eventhough we still had twenty minutes left til checkout. Other than that a great time had by all!

Thanks for your review Freya. We're pleased you all had a good time. We're unclear why you didn't get check in details as we had released them to you. We're in contact with VRBO to find out why. Apologies for the confusion with the checkout time - we had changed it since you booked and thought you would have received updated info. Now we know that doesn't happen so will make sure we communicate any changes directly to guests. Hope to see you again.
