Glen Nevis Cottage is a traditional detached cottage resting in Fort William in the Western Highlands. Hosting two bedrooms including a double and a twin, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to four guests. There is also a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with an open fire and an electric fire. Outside, there is off-road parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with a gravelled area and furniture. Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Town: Lying on the banks of Loch Linnhe is Fort William, the main town of the Western Highlands offering a variety of quaint shops, pubs, and restaurants. The area is known for its fine walking and cycling opportunities for all ages and abilities amongst the varying terrains, and more notably, Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis. The Nevis Range ski resort rests in Fort William as well as there being a World Cup mountain biking course just four miles from the town, making it the ideal destination for both relaxation and adventure.

Great location, dog and child friendly

We had a lovely week staying here. Family if 4, children aged 12 & 11 and our Dalmatian. The location was brilliant with many sights to see in the area. We went up the gorge to Steall water cup and over the wire bridge. Glenfinnan for the iconic viaduct the drive on to Millage for the scenic drive. Fab views from the top of Ben Nevis and up the gondola at the Nevis range. The accommodation was perfect, with everything we needed, however the kitchen knives were very blunt which made it difficult to chop veg. The garden isn’t as enclosed as we would have liked as our dog likes to have a good sniff and a wonder but under supervision it served its purpose. Definitely recommend staying here and we would again.

Holiday in glen nevis

We are both in our 80’s and my wife is not in good health, we have spent many years in Scotland and in this part in particular. The cottage was perfect and is one of the most perfect place one could imagine at our age. If it is possible in the future, I would have no problem in contacting the owners again.
