Mixed Bag
This flat has a number of advantages and disadvantages. Advantages first. It is located right at a bust stop. It has been recently renovated and we found it very clean. It is also spacious. It is only a short walk to Camden Market. Now for the disadvantages. It was advertised as having air-conditioning, which it does not. I asked the property manager to provide air-conditioning units. He did provide units, thinking they were air-conditioners. They were, however, simply air purifiers. (Obviously air-conditioning is only needed during one of London’s rare heat waves.). Other disadvantages: the flat faces a busy street and so can be quite noisy. The flat lacks a dining table. There is only one wastebasket for the kitchen, bathroom, and the three bedrooms. There is no instruction booklet to tell you such things as (a) how to operate the stove top or the washing machine (and there is no drier or clothes rack); (b) what restaurants and shops are nearby; (c) where to find the network name and password for wifi. Not a bad place to stay once you have figured out all its quirks and you are not present when July or August turn hot.
