Location was good, the property lies nearly midway between Polzeath beach and Daymer with a deli shop/cafe around the corner, so you didn’t need to head into Polzeath for your groceries. The bungalow property was a reasonable size with a nice garden view across the back countryside hills and fields. Bedrooms were comfortable, lounge was roomy, dining space was good and there was a spacious sun room over looking the garden. There were 2 outside taps and a basin for washing dogs or your feet in. The negatives we experienced were: it wasn’t as clean as previous properties we’ve stayed in, showers were a bit piddly, a bedroom, WC and bathroom all had windows that opened into the sun room, so they didn’t have proper ventilation, one hob ring wasn’t working properly, kitchen didn’t have extraction (a little extractor fan wasn’t working), only one sun lounger available and that was broken, the WC light wasn’t working but a spare bulb was available. Having said those little negative points, the property rooms were presentable, the area was quiet, beaches were around 12-15 minutes walk away, We enjoyed our stay in this location, it has a bit of everything.
