Great new apartment walking distance to beach

The apartment: This brand new apartment is a perfect location for exploring and enjoying some of Connemaras top beaches. You are just a 10 minute walk from the beautiful long Lettergesh beach and just a 5 minute drive from Glassillaun beach. Or if you enjoy hillwalking you have Benchoona right behind the apartment for a challenge.

Located right on the Wild Atlantic Way, you have the village of Leenane 15 mins away. The village has a number of eateries – check out the great Purple Door Café for yummy cake, beautiful scenery with the mountains coming right down to the sea – check out Killary Fjord boat trip, we give all our guests a discount voucher for the trip or get adventurous with Killary Adventure Centre!

In the other direction you have the beautiful village of Tullycross just 10 mins away. Check out Paddy Coynes for a creamy pint and great seafood. Plenty of lovely beaches to explore or take a walk up Tully Mountain for panoramic views!

Connemara National Park and Kylemore abbey are just 10/15 drive away too so you will definitely be kept busy during your stay! Shore fishing from the beach right on your doorstep, and the Culfin Fishery is nearby with salmon, seatrout and brown trout fishing (permit required).

Inside: This new apartment is fitted out to the highest standard with beautiful subtle colouring throughout. You walk into an open plan living area with everything you could need during your stay. The sitting area has comfy couches and a smart TV for a cosy evening in. There is also a dining area and very well-equipped kitchen.

There are 2 double rooms, one with fold up single bed, making it perfect for a family of 4 or 5. The bathroom has a fantastic large shower. Outside you will find a lovely walled in sitting area which is great for watching the sun go down with a glass of wine or for kids to kick a ball around if they’re not wrecked from the beach already!

Séjour dans le Connemara

Très bel emplacement, la vue est magnifique et le logement est très confortable. Beaucoup de visites et de balades à faire dans un rayon proche. Par temps humide, il n'est pas facile de faire sécher le linge.

A wonderful holiday apartment

We have recently spent a wonderful ten day break in this lovely apartment. We couldn’t fault it. Marie and Sean were perfect hosts and were very welcoming. We know the area well and the position is quite lovely. We can highly recommend a stay here.

Lovely place full of charm

Absolutely loved staying here! The surrounding area was gorgeous providing the most beautiful sunsets, you can even walk to one of the prettiest beaches and then town was only 5-10 minute drive away. The BnB itself was wonderful and had a charm to it. We even had fresh, homemade scones waiting for us on the table. Ideal location if you want to get lost in nature and have time to just unwind from life. I would say it’s perfect for 2-3 people to stay. If you want to see beautiful landscape all around you, stay in a cozy and warm place, this is the place to stay! 10 out of 10 all around

A home away from home

Our stay at kings apartment was perfect. Our host Marie was very welcoming, her scones were the best. The place is modern and cosy, very clean, the beds are comfortable. Close to the beach. It’s a perfect place to stay when visiting Connemara. Thank you again.

Small clean modern apartment

This is a small apartment probably best suited for a couple. The location is quite remote but still only 10 minutes drive to local village. We walked to Glassilaun and Lettergesh beaches a few times. The garden is nice and the view is stunning.

King's apartment

A lovely apartment for a family of four or five. Clean, comfortable and modern. V close to Glassilaun beach and Lettergesh. 10mins from Tully. Lovely lady Marie couldn't have been more helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.

A home from home in a beautiful location

We had a very comfortable stay in a beautiful location. Our hosts Marie and Sean were very warm and ever so hospitable, which made us all feel very welcome. There was a plate of delicious freshly baked scones waiting for us when we arrived, which didn't last long! The apartment had everything we needed. It was cosy and comfortable and we would definitely come back. The kitchen was very modern and well equipped and had all the amenities you would need. The bathroom had a lovely powerful shower and hot water whenever we needed it. There was tons of natural light coming in the huge windows. There was a lovely garden area right outside with seating and a parasol (which we definitely needed with the blazing sunshine we had all week!), plus a washing line which came in very handy. There was plenty of parking space right outside the apartment, which was very convenient. Locally there are two very beautiful beaches, in either direction from the apartment. We had a very happy time and would definitely come again.

Dépaysement

Une très belle adresse au cœur du connemara pour tous ceux qui veulent le découvrir. La route devant n'est pas passante et dévoile une superbe vue. L'hôte est très accessible et n'hésite pas à vous donner les renseignements que vous avez besoin quand vous lui demandez sans être envahissante. Un grand merci pour le thé, café et les scones maison qu'elle avait préparé et laissé à notre attention. Arrivée à 23h et départ à 2h, elle vous fait confiance. Super. Une belle adresse.
