Villa de montaña Española con impresionantes vistas

Esta espléndida villa de vacaciones se encuentra en la cima de una montaña, a 600 metros sobre el nivel del mar; esto le asegura disfrutar de impresionantes vistas de las colinas que rodean Torrox y el mar Mediterráneo. Por otro lado, los campos de árboles frutales se extienden hasta donde alcanza la vista. El encantador interior de la villa está decorado con cuidado por los detalles, donde los estilos rústico y moderno se fusionan para crear un ambiente relajante.

La casa está totalmente climatizada. En la planta baja hay una cocina totalmente equipada, una amplia sala de estar, un baño y un dormitorio con una cama doble de 150 cm.

En la primera planta encontrará otro baño, un dormitorio con 2 camas individuales de 90 cm y un dormitorio con una cama doble de 180 cm y su propia terraza con balcón.

En el exterior tiene una barbacoa de gas, así como un horno de pan / pizza de leña para cocinar deliciosas pizzas

Bajo una zona de terraza sombreada donde podrá relajarse y disfrutar de sus comidas mientras mira las vistas al mar.
También hay una piscina privada y aparcamiento privado.

Nota: La piscina está cerrada durante los meses de invierno (del 1 de noviembre al 1 de abril)

Fantastic Stay

The Villa is blessed with incredible views which makes it worth it staying there alone. The Villa is well equipped and the outside space is perfect. Communication from the host made things nice and simple, especially meeting us and taking us to the Villa to avoid and confusion. We would love to bisit again in the future.

Amazing Place

We had a great time, house was amazing as was the garden. Views are spectacular and great for stargazing too. Host was gracious and very accommodating. Would recommend and 100% would stay again.

Very close to perfect rental house. House is comfortable and well stocked with everything. Good beds, pillows, towels for pool, a/c work very well, washing machine, nice-tasting tab water, fully stocked kitchen, and great outside gas grill, we used every night, lots of shade areas, comfortable furniture inside and out. Very nice host Carl. Beautiful views. A few close neighbors you can hear, but not see.Pool is so nice. Unfortunately a lot of wasps who seek the water.The drive to the house is steep and windy, and your car need some power to make it uphill. We shopped in Lidl in Torrox about 15 minutes away, which had everything. Had great seafood/ paella dinner at Restaurante Velero del Sur by the beach 30 min away. Visited white town Frigiliana and beach town Nerja, but otherwise just enjoyed the pool. We were 4 adults - 1 teenager. Would love to return

Lovely view

Very nice place with great views over the bay and Torrox city. Long twisty road to get op there but once your up the view opens up nicely, you therefore need a car. We had a grate time outside at the swimming pool and the big terras and the pergola was grate to eat at for some covered from the sun. Carl was grate to communicate with and helpful all the time.

Where Eagles Dare!

What a location. 2000 ft up and views for miles. Down to Torrox Costa as well as Nerja. Zigzag approach track from the A7207 up from Torrox, probably 1 in 3 at times. Not for the faint hearted. Recommend an AWD or big engine diesel for ease of ascent. Carl Watson an excellent local agent. Helpful and on call for minor issues. El Parvo a good place to meet prior to getting the keys, and Carl was thorough with his Casa intro tour. Do visit the Monday market at Torrox Costa as well as Canillas de Albeida further up the valley from Competa. For the market turn right on the N340 heading west parallel to the sea front and park up on the service road before the next roundabout. An all round brilliant 3 week stay. Good job all concerned. Stay was April 24 thru May 16 2025.

Quiet secluded with beautiful landscape

A very clean and comfortable stay. The house had everything you needed and plenty id space both inside and out. Nice clean pool that I used almost daily to cool off from the Spanish sun. Beach was a 20 min drive to Torrox and maybe 15 to a beautiful little town of Cómpeta, both which you could get groceries and drinks. The hillside villa does include a steep paved drive of about a km but after a couple of times up and down it was no problem. If you want to get away in a quiet secluded beautiful villa I recommend highly. Beautiful views. Carl was very attentive and just a text or call away. Check in and out was seemless.

Paradise in Andalucía

We stayed at Casa Saluna for 2 incredible months (February/March). The Villa was perfect for our snowbird holiday. A tranquil setting with the most amazing views over the mountains (Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama) and the Mediterranean. The Villa is bright, beds are comfortable, kitchen is well-equipped, and you will be spoiled by the fresh squeezed orange juice using oranges grown on the property. The many seating areas outside offer the perfect balance of sunshine/shade so that you can make the most of the spectacular views. The House Manager, Carl, is very accommodating and responsive. After reading previous reviews, we confirmed our route to the Villa with Carl before we arrived. If you are not able to meet Carl at the meeting location, I suggest confirming your route with him. The Google directions would have taken us on a utility/construction road (combination of paved and dirt) versus the easy highway route. The Villa is a short drive to many “must-see” locations, including beautiful hiking spots for all levels of ability. The quaint Andalusian Towns of Competa, Torrox and Torrox Costa, Nerja (Balcony of Europe and the Nerja Caves), and Frigiliana (on National Geographic’s list as one of the prettiest towns in Spain) are an easy 15-30 minute drive. Granada, Malaga, Ronda, the Caminito del Rey and Setenil de las Bodegas are within 1 to 2 hours. Thank you Carl and Casa Saluna for a perfect winter holiday.

Terrifying Road

The property itself is nice enough (despite the constant bugs in the pool) but my family and I stayed in it for a total of 12 hours whilst we organised somewhere else to stay. I feel that it is only fair to warn people how unbelievably dangerous the road up to this property is. Going out at night would be basically impossible as it's 600 m up a hairpin road with NO SAFETY BARRIER! We had to abandon our car and luggage on a road as we were not me by the host due toate flight and walk up a cliff in pitch darkness to the property, with 3 young children. The property as I say, is nice, but feels incredibly isolated and once I was up that road once, I knew I was never going to come up it again and spent the first day of our holiday finding somewhere else. Be warned that it is very risky. They will say that this was a bad road we took and there is another one, we'll, we took this 'better' road on the way back down and it was still terrifying, ridiculous windy and again with no safety barrier. I don't like leaving bad reviews and the man who came to see us the next day was nice but I think it is my responsibility to stress the dangers.

Traumhafte Lage

Das Haus ist sehr schön. Die Lage, der Ausblick und vor allem der große Garten mit sehr vielen blühenden Blumen ist echt traumhaft. Die Betten sind gut und die Küche ist wirklich mit allem ausgestattet. WIr haben nur an der Finca gekocht und der Grill sogar mit Plancha Platte sehr gut. Der Verwalter hat immer super schnell reagiert um kleine Probleme zu lösen. Einziger Wermutstropfen war ein Nachbar unterhalb der Finca welcher anscheinend fest dort wohnt und häufiger das ganze Tal mit Musik beschallt. Das ist wahrscheinlich in Spanien häufiger so. Wenn die Musik aus ist ist es traumhaft ruhig.

Der Ausblick ist fantastisch, wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Die Anfahrt ist m.E. gar kein Problem, solange man nicht den Google Maps Vorschlag nimmt sondern die Serpentinen aus dem Westen. Das wird einem aber auch nochmal beim Check-In erklärt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Niet meer dan een kleine voldoende

Vanuit het huis is inderdaad een prachtig uitzicht. De hogere ligging betekent wel dat de laatste 800m over een zeer steile en bochtige (verharde) weg moet worden afgelegd, waarvan de laatste 100m in zeer slechte staat verkeerd. Het is geen weg die je uitnodigt om 's avonds in het donker en mist/laag hangende bewolking te berijden. In het na(voor)seizoen verdwijnt de zon 's middags snel achter de berg waartegen de villa is gebouwd en daalt temperatuur snel. Dus in de namiddag genieten van een drankje of buiten eten was er dan niet bij. Gelukkig was er wel een koolmonoxide melder aanwezig. De warmwatergeiser en/of de installatie was kennelijk niet in orde. De beheerder wilde wel maar het probleem werd niet binnen onze 2 weken opgelost! Andere mindere zaken. Bij aankomst was er een douche geen warmwater (opgelost na 3 dgn). De meeste wielen van de ligstoelen waren afgebroken. Ondanks de kussens op de terrasstoelen zat je op het metalen frame Volgens de beheerder zouden die vervangen worden na het einde seizoen. Daar heb je natuurlijk niets aan als je een van de laatste huurders bent. De pizzaoven was vies en de er was een hoek van de steen afgebroken. In de keuken stond een prullenbank zonder deksel(lekker hygiënisch). Er was een dunne theedoek en een zeer klein handdoekje in de keuken. Na veel zoeken kwamen er nog 2 dunne theedoekjes te voorschijn. Ook een set handdoeken in de badkamer bij een bezoek van 2 weken is niet echt comfortabel. Kortom zeker geen 5 sterren eerder 2-3

Ruhe und mit wunderbaren Ausblick

Wir hatten eine wunderbare entspannte Zeit. Wenn man sich an die Auf- und Abfahrt gewöhnt hat verliert auch diese ihr Adrenalin. Am Haus hat sich eine ganz bezaubernde Katze aufgehalten. Am iebsten hätten wir diese mit nach Deutschland genommen. Wir hoffen das Sie von weiteren Mietern viel Liebe bekommt

Herrlicher Aufenthalt

Die Villa ist ruhig gelegen, in der Nähe sind andere (Ferien-)häuser. Der Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge und das Meer sind wirklich fantastisch, das Grundstück wunderschön angelegt. Vieles nicht ganz neu, gleichzeitig sauber und gut nutzbar. Im Haus und drum herum gab es alles, was wir brauchen, einschließlich BBQ, Pizzaofen(!), Waschmaschine, eine hervorragend ausgestatte Küche, saubere Zimmer mit guten Betten... Wir bei wohl fast allen Häusern hier, ist die Zufahrt etwas abenteuerlich, man gewöhnt sich schnell dran. Die Kommunikation mit Carl war sehr einfach und entspannt. Volle Empfehlung des Hauses.
