My very first impression was a surprise when the hosts preferred to give us the exact address later on in order to protect the privacy of their guests.
"Very professional," I thought.
I really wanted to find an authentic, traditional Finnish cottage next to a lake.
I was very excited about how well organised the sauna area is.
As an interior designer, I really appreciate the effort put into making the spaces as cozy as possible, caring about all the details to make them even more enjoyable.
That is exactly what Josh & Satu do. The devil is in the details, and they know it very well.
For instance, you have at your disposal essential oils to create a richer sauna experience and Italian extra virgin olive oil to make your food tastier.
It is worth mentioning that our dog has been so happy playing around and roaming the massive, fully-fenced backyard freely.
They even had the warmth to give a new toy as a present to our dog to welcome his stay.
A perfect sleep is 100% guaranteed. The location is super quiet.
The cottage is in a residential area full of harvest fields, and all you can hear are birds singing tucked into super smooth and fluffy bed linen, high-quality pillows, and a dreamy mattress.
If you want to rest and really understand why Finland is the happiest country in the world, Casa Salo is really your place!
