Stunning coach house conversion

Forget your worries in this spacious, serene space created from a Victorian coach house. The conversion has created a wonderful open-plan living space combined with three sumptuous en-suite bedrooms.

Set on a country Estate on the southern fringes of the Scottish Highlands, you get stunning views over the heather-clad hills. A host of fantastic sporting, recreational and cultural opportunities await guests on the Estate and nearby, including grouse shooting, deer stalking, and salmon fishing.

Welcome to Coach House!

This former carriage building dates from the 18th century and has been tastefully restored and updated into a luxury country retreat. The original features have been cleverly incorporated with the drive-in doorways now replaced with large windows flooding the property with light, and selected exposed stone walls providing a throwback to its former purpose.

The main room is a spacious L-shaped open-plan area with sofas and seating around the cosy log burner, a modern kitchen with an island and a farmhouse table for dining. The kitchen includes an induction hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher, as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer, and all the cooking utensils you’ll need.

The layout of the house separates the en-suite bedrooms to provide privacy and peace. The tartan-carpeted master bedroom suite is the only room upstairs. You’ll feel like the laird of the estate with a super king-sized bed and a roll top bath, in addition to the large walk-in shower. Downstairs there is one double bedroom with a king-sized bed and large window overlooking the courtyard. The third bedroom has twin beds and overlooks the garden.

Outside there is ample room for off-street car parking. There is a large, lawned garden with patio furniture; BBQs are available on request. We can also provide details for hiring a private chef, vehicles etc. Regretfully, dogs are not allowed.

Bild für Gastgeberprofil
Originally from the south coast of England, I relocated to Perthshire in 2019 to look after the Estate’s farming, forestry, shooting and property portfolio. In my leisure time I enjoy climbing Munros, hiking, shooting, gundog training and kayaking.

At Logiealmond Estate our mission is to make our guests’ stay as memorable as possible tailoring our service to their individual needs and expectations. Our luxury accommodation provides a sense of place, allowing our guests the opportunity to relax in the stunning Perthshire countryside, enjoy warm Scottish hospitality, take part in unique outdoor activities and experience the Estate’s rich history and heritage.

Logiealmond Estate is also fast becoming world-renowned for its high-quality driven shoot days and simulated clay shooting attracting visitors from the UK, USA, Chile, South Africa and Europe. Our properties have been renovated and built in ways sympathetic to the original Estate buildings, following our ecological philosophy. All utilise the latest renewable energy technologies with ground source heat pumps taking natural energy from the earth to provide heat and hot water for all our holiday and staff accommodation. We have biomass generators and are currently installing photovoltaics with battery storage for all properties. Thermally efficient insulation makes sure that energy isn’t wasted.

With a focus on protecting and enhancing the rich local biodiversity and landscape, there is ongoing large-scale replanting of over 300,000 mixed native Scottish broadleaf trees. The Estate is home to a vast number of red-listed birds and the highest number of registered birds in Scotland including a golden eagle, ospreys, red kites, buzzards and has 54 breeding pairs of curlews. We are also restoring peatland areas to enhance carbon capture.

By providing an abundance of natural, economic and social opportunities, Logiealmond Estate is committed to creating a sustainable environment and to eventually becoming carbon neutral.
