Welcome to enjoy a holiday in the beautiful log cabin , located on the shore of Onkijärvi, just 10 kilometers from Highway 5 and 50 kilometers from both Kuopio and Iisalmi. This 64 m² (plot size 7500 m²) year-round cabin offers all the comforts of a detached house and is a perfect destination for families and vacationers who appreciate the tranquility of nature and a variety of activities.

Amenities and facilities:
- Bedroom, living room/kitchen, sleeping loft, and bathroom/WC. The living room has a high ceiling and a large window facing the lake.
- Wood-heated lakeside sauna, where you can enjoy the traditional cozy sauna atmosphere. The sauna window offers a peaceful lake view.
- The cabin has clean water from a water cooperative, a flush toilet, shower, washing machine, and dishwasher.
- Wireless and fast internet (+/- 100 Mb) for remote work.
- Flat and well-maintained lawn area, child-friendly sandy beach, and pier.
- In the yard, there is a large trampoline, swings, a slide, and yard games.

- Travel cot, high chair, and potty for the little ones. Recreation equipment: - Rowboat included in the rental
- Kayak, bicycles (4 pcs), 4-stroke Honda motor for the boat, hot tub with convenient indoor seat, and a SUP board available for rent.
- Gas grill, Muurikka pancake pan, small fish smoker, and outdoor fire pit for roasting sausages, plus a separate fish cleaning area.
Location and surroundings:
- 50 km to Kuopio and Iisalmi, 55 km to Tahko, and 30 km to Kasurila ski resort and golf course. Väisälänmäki National Park is less than an hour's drive from the cottage.
- Three spas nearby (Fontanella, Kunnonpaikka, Rauhalahti, and Tahko SPA). The area offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities and recreation. Rental terms:
- The cottage has sleeping places for six people (+ additional beds).
- Rental price for four people. - Final cleaning 80 €.
- Minimum rental period 2 nights or as agreed. Come and enjoy a relaxing holiday with your whole family in a beautiful and peaceful setting where the scenery of Onkijärvi and excellent amenities create the perfect setting for leisure time!

Very comfortable and thoughtfully appointed cabin in an idyllic location

We spent several days at this wonderful property and loved every minute of it! The location is very beautiful, on a peaceful and quiet lake, with a kayak and rowboat available for our use - we spent a lot of time on the water or just sitting on the dock enjoying the view. We also appreciated the fantastic sauna and loved alternating between the heat and dips in the cold lake. My daughter used one of the bikes for exploring the area and we found a lovely little chapel in the woods, which was a highlight along with all the wildflowers and wild berries. The grill was nice for barbecuing, and there is great shopping for groceries and other items about 15 minutes away. The cabin had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable and was very clean. Would be a great location to bring younger children - there's a sandbox with toys, a trampoline, etc. Mikko was thoughtful and communicated clearly leading up to our stay. Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again!

Sowohl die Lage wie auch das Haus sind toll. Die Benutzung zu zweit ist optimal. Mit kleinen Kindern nicht empfehlenswert wegen der steilen Treppe. Mit Teenager aber Top.

Nice Sauna, super area, clean house, good outdoor kitchen, lovely terrace, good contact. Excellent lakes for rowing or kayaking. All you need.

Peace, tranquillity and comfort

Even better than the pictures suggest. The cottage is very remote but easy to find with a decent sat nav. Even though we stayed during a cold spell in June, the cottage is perfectly comfortable. The lake is beautiful to look at but we weren't able to get on it due to the weather. What is really nice is that this is someone's cottage and feels like home rather than a sterile holiday rental. Mikko is very helpful and just a call away if any troubles. As there were only 2 of us, we didn't use the upstairs bedroom. The stairs are steep and the headroom low. All in all, a perfect holiday rental and highly recommended. Just take plenty of mosquito spray as Finnish mozzies are very aggressive

Thank you for your visit and your feedback. The weather has been a bit extraordinary in the spring. May was warm. The average temperature was 22 C (up to 27 C). The beginning of June when you visited Anna- Cottage was a little cool. Average temperature 16 ° C (min 9 ° C). Annoyance. Is the atmosphere changing? You are warmly welcome again! Regards, Mikko

Just to relax ourselves watching toward the lake with sauna shore , hot tub, kayak, sub-board and fishing. This properety is ab half quater away from the Tahko Ski Resort so it is so easy to spend the day every now and then in this Resort throughout the year.
The property is only 10 km from the highway of number 5, so it is easy to enter it.
