There is also a first-floor kitchen/diner, first-floor sitting room with woodburning stove and a garage/utility. Outside there is off-road parking for five cars, an enclosed front garden with grass and furniture and enclosed rear patio. Maesteg is a superb dwelling for a getaway to North Wales.

Lovely house in a great location

The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was a great base to climb Snowdon and also Llanberis itself has plenty to do. We enjoyed going on the lake train, walks and paddle boarding on the lake. Would definitely recommend

Holiday in Llanberis

This is such a super cottage in a lovely location. We were on a multigenerational family trip, and the whole family from grandparents to three and six year old were comfortable and happy. The cottage is right in the middle of Llanberis, a sweet hiking town with plenty of food and coffee options and a great location for getting to amazing hiking options in Snowdonia as well as nearby scenic towns and castles in Anglesey. We couldn't have chosen a better place. We loved the view from the kitchen and dining area of the mountains in the morning, as well as the view of the town out the front window. The house itself is clean and well equipped. Our children have food allergies and the kitchen had all necessary dishes, utensils, pots and pans to cook at home. The beds are comfortable and rooms spacious, and the three bathrooms is a bonus. We had a wonderful time in Wales and this house was a big part of it!
