Unprofessional and Unsafe
This property was very hard to locate and unfortunately my team had to leave the property and find another place to stay for the following reasons. When we arrived the property manager informed us that the guests from the night before had left late and that they needed time to finish preparing the house. But after waiting for two hours we realized that they weren't planning on finishing cleaning but that he, two wemon and three children were only watching TV. They did prepare our rooms but they didn't wash the dishes or remove their clothes from the verandas, they didn't provide any water and they only provided our team of twelve with one towel. When we asked them what was going on the manager informed us that he and the women and children were going to stay in the house with us! It was very uncomfortable to ask them to leave the house to us but they agreed to leave. However, after another 2 hours of waiting while they sat and watched TV we realized that they were not planning on leaving. When I pressed the issue the property manager informed us that he was the security officer and that he had to sleep on site and this made me suspicious because he didn't present himself as a security guard and he made us uncomfortable to be in the house. At one point I left to buy some noodles to cook dinner for our team but when I came back I couldn't cook because the pots still had old food. In the end no one from our party felt safe or comfortable sleeping on the same property as the manager because of his demeanor, for instance, he was anxious for all of us to leave the house for some reason and at one point he even told my mother in law that he could sneak around the house at night and go through our stuff without us even knowing. so we had to leave there and go to Sunset Entebbe for the night.
