We stayed here so we could be relatively close to Liverpool. The price was good for our budget.
This is an apartment with two full bedrooms and another room with a bed for another person. The stay was god. The heat in two of the rooms didn’t seems on work, but they may have been on timers. I also did not see any paper towels which would have been handy a few times.
They stay was overall good.
Property was nothing as advertised. Given it cost a lot of money to book i thought it would have been a good place to stay. The property was disgustingly filthy, cigarette smell throughout masked by cheap air freshener. damaged to walls and furniture, mould and grime everywhere. It looked like a crack den and brothel. In order to not catch a disease, i left the property after 2 hours of arguing to get my money back and stayed in a hotel for the duration of our stay. VRBO needs to vet these so called properties to ensure customers aren’t being ripped off.
We appreciated having a house for a few days. It was easy to find, there is a parking lot right beside the house and it’s on a one way street. There is a little grocery store at the corner of the street, and a fish and chip shop couple of blocks away.
The house is also just a few blocks from St. Helens Junction Station.
The bed in the front bedroom was very uncomfortable and should be replaced.
The drain in the downstairs shower was very slow, but the shower was great.
We appreciated the washing machine, but drying in the house was difficult. A clothes line in the yard would be useful. We put the rack outside for quickest drying. The heated towel rail in the upstairs bathroom was only turned on briefly, on one day.
The kitchen had every we needed, with a nice refrigerator and freezer. The separate lounge had comfortable seating and the TV.
Be aware that the stairs are very steep, difficult for older family members.
