This west facing home lays on a hill at the end of the road of a picturesque small coastal farming village called Benijo in the heart of Parque Rural de Anaga.
The trail head into Anaga begins in the property line, you can head out on a walk around Anaga and come into the house before you set foot on the road, yet you get the privacy as one can’t see the house from the trail.
The Benijo soft black sand beach is just a few minutes’ walk from the house and visible from the property’s edge. Recognized as one of Spain’s Best by National Geographic. TripAdvisor also highlights Benijo Beach as one the of the best in the island. Wild in nature and unpopulated, you can relax feeling the warm water mix with fine black volcanic sand encountering the sheer Anaga cliffs.
Benijo town offers great local culinary experience, all within walking distance you have the option to eat fresh fish, drink the local wine and enjoy the majestic views or taste more traditional Canarian local grown food. Take a right at the banana trees through the farms fields to Casa Paca to enjoy her authentic cooking daily from 8AM to 11PM.
The coastal towns of Almaciga, Los Roques and Taganana are within minutes’ drive. These beautiful rustic towns pride themselves with rich history of wine making and indigenous civilization, Iconic restaurants and picturesque landscapes are found in here. The dynamic ecosystem and complex microclimates it what make Anaga a wonderful place.
Swimming, Hiking, Fishing, Surfing, Yoga, Reading or simply Relaxing are great activities to do around. You can simply sit in the patio and BBQ watching the marvelous peaks of Anaga, the Atlantic Ocean winding around the mountain range, and the sun shine through the rugged cliffs and clouds changing colors and shapes until sunset. During the winter months the sun sets behind the Anaga mountain, the larger part of the year the sun sets in the Atlantic Ocean bringing every day of the season a different light and experience.

The house offers all the amenities one needs two TVs, Internet, up and downstairs living rooms, balcony, patios, BBQ, filtered water, washer, parking, and a private trail into the cliff’s edge where you can sit admiring the greatness of this dramatic mountain range.
For the surfers the place is particularly special there is always surf. You can do a surf check for Benijo and Almaciga from the edge of the house. If the surf is too big one can always head to Los Roques where the outside rocks offers some protection from the surf and offers gentler waves.
For the hiker sitting in the front of back patio overlooking the mountain range with the binoculars or walking to the cliff edge to see the coastline to the east you can set your hiking itinerary, visually follow the trail, check the waterfalls or running creeks, travel around the dense forest without moving. Once you decide to take a hike you can always start and finish at the house or walk for 1 Km to take the bus into the top of Anaga and walk back through the complex mountain ecosystem.
For the chiller and curious foodie, the area is pack with local restaurants. Its not coincidence with sharp peaks and deep ravines covered with carpets of laurel trees and dotted with charming hamlets, this part of Anaga, UNESCO World Heritage Site, is very visited and sought after. Tourist and nature enthusiast drive in during the day to enjoy a piece of Anaga eat and then return home. Being at the end of the road tuck on the cliff in the last car accessible beach town you are in a perfect location. Within short walking distance to food yet away from the day trippers. Enjoy the sunset cut through the rugged peaks and fall over the Atlantic Ocean bringing colors and shadows to every corner of Anaga.
