Villa Lo Scoglio is an exceptional private residence overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, offering one of the most distinctive experiences of the Amalfi Coast: the privacy of an expansive Mediterranean estate combined with direct access to the sea and the convenience of being just minutes from the heart of Positano.



Set within approximately 4,480 square metres of fully enclosed private gardens, the villa enjoys an extraordinary sense of space and privacy. Lush Mediterranean vegetation, panoramic terraces and numerous outdoor areas create different settings for relaxing, dining and enjoying the spectacular coastal scenery.



The villa accommodates up to 12 guests in six double bedrooms and is particularly well suited to families or groups of friends travelling together. The main house features four bedrooms, while an independent annex provides two additional bedrooms, allowing larger groups to enjoy both convivial spaces and a greater degree of privacy.



One of the property's most remarkable features is its direct access to the sea. A private stone staircase leads down through the garden to a sea level platform with a ladder into the water, creating a privileged setting for swimming and sunbathing during the warmer months.



The villa is located in the Arienzo area of Positano, less than 2 km from the town centre. A bus stop is located close to the entrance, making it possible to reach Positano without necessarily relying on a car.



THE OUTDOOR AREAS



The outdoor spaces are at the heart of the Villa Lo Scoglio experience.

The vast private garden extends across approximately 4,480 square metres and is completely enclosed, offering a rare sense of privacy on the Amalfi Coast. Several terraces and secluded corners are surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and overlook the sea.



A large outdoor dining area can accommodate up to 12 guests and is ideal for long lunches and dinners overlooking the coast. The property also features comfortable outdoor lounge areas, a barbecue and a wood fired pizza oven.



A heated outdoor Jacuzzi for up to six guests provides another relaxing spot from which to enjoy the sea views and is available from April to October.



For guests who enjoy a more active holiday, the property also offers a table tennis area.



The true highlight, however, is the private sea access. Approximately 100 steps lead from the villa down to a platform by the water, equipped with a ladder for entering the sea. This unique feature allows guests to experience the coast directly from the property, rather than simply admiring it from above.



THE LIVING AREAS



The interiors combine traditional Mediterranean character with comfortable spaces designed for relaxed group living.



The main villa features a spacious living area with comfortable seating, a fireplace and large windows framing the sea. The interiors open naturally towards the terraces and garden, creating an easy connection between indoor and outdoor living.



The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances, a dishwasher and everything required for preparing meals at the villa. The large dining table provides a comfortable setting for meals together, while the outdoor dining area offers the possibility of dining al fresco with the sea as a backdrop.



The property also offers indoor and outdoor lounge areas, allowing guests to find a quiet space to relax at different times of the day.



THE BEDROOMS



FIRST FLOOR



The first floor of the main villa features four double bedrooms.

Each bedroom has a Queen size bed, air conditioning, sea views, a safe and a private en suite bathroom.



Three of the bedrooms share access to a shaded terrace overlooking the sea, providing an additional private outdoor space.



The four bathrooms are individually designed, with three featuring a shower and one offering both a bathtub and a separate shower.



ANNEX



The independent annex is located next to the main villa and has its own entrance from a small sea view terrace.



It features two additional double bedrooms, each furnished with a Queen size bed and equipped with air conditioning, sea views, a safe and a private en suite bathroom with shower.



The annex is particularly convenient for families and groups travelling together who appreciate having additional privacy while remaining close to the main house.

ADDITIONAL COSTS – TO BE PAID ON ARRIVAL



The following costs are not included in the rental price and must be paid according to the conditions of the reservation:



• Tourist tax: €2.50 per person per day. Children under 10 years old are exempt. The tax is requested from April 1st to October 31st.

• Refundable damage deposit: €1,500.00.

• Late arrival fee: €60.00 for arrivals between 8:00 PM and midnight and €80.00 for arrivals after midnight.



Check in is available every day from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Check out is before 10:00 AM.



DISCOVER POSITANO AND THE AMALFI COAST



Villa Lo Scoglio provides an ideal base for discovering Positano while offering a peaceful private retreat away from the busiest parts of town.

The beaches of Arienzo, Fiumicello and San Pietro are all within approximately 500 metres, while Positano's main beach is approximately 2 km away.



From Positano's harbour, guests can arrange private boat excursions towards Capri, Amalfi and the most beautiful coastal coves, many of which are best reached by sea.



The famous Path of the Gods is also within reach, offering one of the most spectacular hiking experiences in the area.



Amalfi is approximately 8 km away, Ravello approximately 10 km, Maiori approximately 12 km and Sorrento approximately 17 km. Naples International Airport is approximately 60 km from the villa.



CAPRI AND THE BAY OF NAPLES



A stay at Villa Lo Scoglio also provides the opportunity to explore the wider Bay of Naples.



A private boat excursion to Capri can be arranged, allowing guests to discover the island's famous coastline, sea caves and coves while enjoying the journey along the Amalfi Coast.



Alternatively, guests can dedicate a day to exploring Amalfi and Ravello, visit historic sites and gardens, or travel towards Sorrento and the Sorrento Peninsula.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION



Villa Lo Scoglio is a spectacular coastal property, but its location also reflects the characteristic vertical landscape of Positano.



Access to the villa from the main road is via a private driveway of approximately 300 metres with a very steep gradient. The property is therefore not suitable for guests with reduced mobility or for guests who have difficulty walking on steep inclines and stairs.



The sea access is reached by approximately 100 steps from the villa.

Guests should be comfortable with stairs and uneven surfaces.



A car is not essential for enjoying the area, as a bus stop is located close to the property entrance. Parking is available for up to two small cars or one large car.



Pets are not allowed.



External catering is not permitted at the property. An in house chef can be arranged on request and at an additional cost.



The wood fired pizza oven may be used exclusively in the presence of the villa's professional chef/pizzaiolo. Guests are not permitted to operate the pizza oven independently.
