CALLIOPESMANSION is located in the heart of the marine reserve of Punta della Campanella right above Nerano Bay. The property is built along the hill's profile and designed to be an harmonic part of the natural landscape. It can comfortably host up to 13 guests in 7 rooms with 5+1 bathrooms, multiple living rooms, several exterior living and dining spaces, many terraces and the gorgeous pool overlooking the sea.

This place is absolutely spectacular and exactly as described! We had to of us stay here and it was the trip of a lifetime. Carmine is fantastic, just roll with him and do what he tells you to do and you will not be disappointed! The view is spectacular, and the grounds are stunning!

Calliope's Villa is a beautiful property, with stunning views all around! Carmine, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and prompt to assist us in any way we asked.Forget about booking any tours of the area, boat rides, dinners, etc., on your own! Just ask for Carmine's assistance and you'll receive the best the area has to offer!What a great place to finish our 3-week visit to the beautiful country of Italy!

This was probably the nicest VRBO I have ever stayed at. Carmine was fantastic to deal with and made a lovely dinner at the villa. He arranged a visit to a local farm and went out of his way to make our experience memorable. The views are stunning. The driveway is very narrow but doable with a relatively compact car. I am grateful for the time we had with both our family of 5 and another family of 5. We had plenty of room and only wish we could stay longer.

This week was not only a family vacation, but also my wedding venue! All I can say is Grazie Mille a Carmine, who was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire week. He had no issue scheduling phone calls with me leading up to the week, discussing wedding details, and he was always available while we were staying at Villa Calliope. We had a pretty bad storm the night before the wedding, and it ended up frying a fuse, leaving us without power or AC in the upstairs part of the house. We discovered the problem around 10:30 PM, but Carmine was immediately available, talking me through troubleshooting the problem. AC was fixed almost instantly, and a repairman was out first thing the next morning to remedy the lights! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Carmine and Villa Calliope! You would be remiss to skip this stay!

Perfect Vacation

The Villa speaks for itself with its spectacular views and ample space. What we found to be the true star/bonus to this Villa is its house manager Camine. If you’re looking for someone who turns a good trip into an unforgettable vacation, with exclusive, royal like, treatment on any of his excursions, look no further. Fabulous first time to the Amalfi Coast

Our time in the villa could not have been any better. We were a group of women, seniors, and this was our 1st time to the area. The scenery was breathtaking. We had day trips to Positano, Ravello, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples, Ischia and Capri….. some by boat, some by car. We visited a lemon farm, made limoncello, and watched the making of mozzarella.Carmine, the house manager, fixed us a good breakfast every morning and several fabulous dinner. He was very helpful with all our needs and informative about various activities. It was a fantastic vacation !

Unbelievable views! Loved this Villa

We LOVED our stay! We had an incredible vacation and Carmine made it even more special. The villa is exactly as described and was full service for all the activities and amenities we needed. Can't stress enough to use Carmine to help with everything from dinners at the villa, restaurants, all our day trips, cooking classes, food/beverages at the villa, etc! He was very attentive and made sure we were having an incredible vacation. The villa is somewhat remote, but we were able to walk to the nearby village (20 min hilly walk) and it was worth the trip. The pasta shop at the bottom of the hill (La Palma Pasta All'uovo) was also a great find for daily fresh pasta if you want to cook at the villa. Afternoons in the pool gazing at the sea was also magical.We couldn't say enough great things about our stay - it was just incredible. We had 2 families and everyone said this was one of the best vacations we have ever taken! Highly recommend and make sure to use Carmine for all your plans!

Lovely home on the Sorrento peninsula

Great property, very helpful manager, cooked 2 meals at the house that were incredible. Lots of nearby places that are tucked away from the usual Amalfi coast or Sorrento hubbub. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful home and postcard setting. Rent a small vehicle as road to house is tight.

House manager Carmine was super helpful and he provided info whenever we needed anything. I hope to return to this property again.

What a great property - best view of any property I have stayed.

Stunning villa

Five stars all the way. The location made for a quiet vacation yet the local restaurants provided pick up and drop off service so we weren't completely isolated without a car. Carmine and Katarina were excellent at their jobs.

We had two families and our mom stay at this beautiful property and it was fantastic. The pictures don’t do it justice. Absolutely loved our stay and Carmine was soooo helpful in planning activities and our stay. Loved every minute.

Beautiful property!!

Our stay was wonderful! The villa and outdoor space were amazing! The pool looked beautiful however it was too cold outside for us to use it! The road to the villa is very tight but after a few days you get used to it. Carmine and Katarina were extremely helpful throughout our stay! We will definitely be back!

Amazing Stay !!@

This property is absolutely beautiful. The views are spectacular. Carmine, the property manager was the BEST part of our stay. He arranged everything from our pickup in Rome, trip to Pompeii, a day trip by private boat to Capri, a day trip by van along the coast, a private boat trip along the coast. Yo top it iff he prepared a fabulous meal on our last night and arranged our transfer to the Naples airport the day we left. We could not have enjoyed our time here any more.

AMAZING pre-wedding weekend

I can not overstate how incredible this stay was! From the beautiful views, to the roomy and spacious house (we comfortably slept 13 people!), to the house manager Carmine - everything was amazing!! We had travelled all day from Lake Como and Carmine had a chef prepare a delicious dinner for us right in the house so we didn't have to worry about getting ready and finding a place to eat. Carmine also arranged all of our transportation for the weekend which was a HUGE help. He set up a private boat tour for the day around Capri and helped us with dinner reservations or delivery each night. Really, it was a wonderful experience and we can not wait to come back!!

The Best Place We Stayed In Italy

We stayed in VRBOs in Lake Como (Rezzonico), Florence and this property on our trip and we definitely saved the best for last (Mass Lubresne). The Villa is spectacular, a perfect size for our group of 8 with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The views were amazing, a great pool, and they villa was cleaned daily. The location was also terrific, remote so we had a lot of privacy but within 15-25 minutes of anywhere we wanted to go. As great as the property itself was, Carmine, who is the property manager, was even better. He helped arrange tours/excursions, transportation, massages and restaurant reservations. He was on top of everything, a real joy to work with. If you are spending time in Sorrento/Amalfi coast and you have a group of 8-10 people, this is a great place to stay.

We had a great stay at Calliope's Mansion. The villa is exactly as described on the website and looks even better in person than it does in the pictures. Carmine could not have been more helpful and arranged everything for us from transfers from the airport, trips to Pompeii, boat trips, dinner in local restaurants. He came in and cooked for the whole group on two occasions. Even though the villa is so remote it didnt feel like you couldnt go out and explore the local area. He was always very responsive and things were quickly organised the night before or the day of.

Great host and really nice house

We were a group of 11 and the house couldn't be more comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean, the views are gorgeous and Carmine was amazing in organizing a boat ride through the Amalfi Coast for us and getting a last minute transfer back to Naples. If I had to say something negative, it would be about the road to get there. We rented 2 large cars to fit everyone and it was kind of stressful to get in and out of the house. So if you have multiple drivers in your group, go for multiple small cars! I definitely recommend the house and cannot wait to come back!

A Beautiful Jewel!

Ciao Luca! Thank you for sharing your amazing villa with us. Everything was perfect- and Carmine was a blessing. He took great care of us, and helped to make our adventure all the better. Beautiful, beautiful- I am already missing waking up with the Aegean out my balcony. You truly have a gem! To potential renters, use Google coordinates to property, they bring you right to door. This property is great for large groups, plenty of space and spectacular views in every direction.

Incredible Experience

This property was easily the most incredible place I've stayed in my life. From the views over the Tyrrenhian Sea from the pool and the terraces to the villa itself, everything was beyond expectations. But what really put our experience over the top in terms of making the vacation a once-in-a-lifetime experience was having Carmine available every step of the way to help us manage everything from private boat excursions to Capri, rides in and out of the surrounding towns, (personally) cooking dinners at the villa, and making dinner reservations for us with restaraurants that actually come to pick you up at the villa and drop you off after. One night the restaurant shuttle even stopped at the grocery so we could shop and then refrigerated our food while we ate at the their restaurant. I hope to be fortunate enough to go there again, it was truly incredible!

We absolutely loved our family vacation on the Amalfi Coast. The villa is beautiful with spectacular views, but we would have been lost without Carmine the house manager. The villa is located in a very remote area at the end of a steep, narrow, winding road. Without transportation you would be stuck. Carmine was incredible arranging all of our rides, excursions, and even cooking an amazing dinner for the 9 of us. We loved the old style of the villa, but think some bathroom renovations are needed. The villa comes with a sweet mascot, Coffee, the local dog that greets you everyday. Wonderful family memories were made this week. Wish the weather was warmer so that we could have enjoyed the numerous terraces and the pool more!!

We bought it and renovated the mansion with the willing to get our little piece of paradise when escaping from the city stress.
