Casa Le Calle - Terrace overlooking the sea

Overlooking one of the thousand curves of the Amalfi road, Casa Le Calle is located 2 km from the centre of Positano in the direction of Amalfi. In the heart of Laurito, the ideal escape for travellers who prefer to experience typical atmospheres, surrounded by nature and away from the chaos.
It is a comfortable house, renovated in 2017, with modern features combined with the charm of its history, as shown by the typical early 20th century floor.
From the street, only 20 steps will lead you to the terrace where, in the shade of the wisteria, you’ll have the chance to admire an unforgettable sunset with a view of the Faraglioni of Capri while enjoying a soothing aperitif or take a shower after a boat trip.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need; the sitting area has a Smart-TV and a small bookcase. You will also find some board games to make sure you have plenty of memorable fun!
Each of you will have plenty of space, thanks to the two large bedrooms, each with its en-suite bathroom furnished with a comfortable shower box.
In the morning, there is nothing better than opening the shutters to enjoy the sea view from the balcony.
Located just outside Positano, away from the chaos,
The district of Laurito is surrounded by nature, inhabited mostly by Positano residents, and in a strategic position to reach Amalfi, the Sorrento Peninsula and Pompeii.
If you don’t feel like cooking, there are three great restaurants in the area, only 300mt away from the house. The renowned “Da Adolfo”, to enjoy a cheerful lunch on the beach, ‘Zass’ at the prestigious Hotel San Pietro and, around the corner, the ‘Taverna del Leone’ to taste our traditional dishes or a takeaway pizza to enjoy on the terrace.
The nearest grocery stores are in Positano or Praiano, but it is possible to order groceries and have them delivered.
Casa Le Calle is located on the outskirts of Positano and free parking is available on the public road.
I generally suggest not to drive here because of the heavy traffic and the difficult roads.
You can make the most of your holiday by alternatively using these means of transportation: bus, taxi, rented chauffeur-driven car, or a rented scooter.
Bus stops to reach all destinations are only a few steps away from the entrance gate.

A gem of property!

We had a wonderful and memorable stay in Positano. Antonella was a terrific host. She helped us find parking and the check-in was smooth. She gave us helpful tips and recommendations in the area.The property was very clean, well decorated and spacious for our family of four. The beds were very comfortable with nice linen.The only downside of the stay was the location. While in Positano, this is a bit away from center of Positano where the restaurants, beach, ferrry transfers are. We enjoyed the walk to town, but it was a 20 -25 minute walk each way.

Outstanding hostess and a beautiful property!

Casa Le Calle is a beautiful, immaculately clean home with an amazing view. Antonella, the hostess, is equally wonderful. She was extremely helpful in explaining local transportation, restaurant recommendations, and places to visit. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer.

Fabulous place!

The villa we rented was exactly like the photos! Antonella was a delightful hostess who offered great recommendations for transportation, grocery and restaurants. One if the restaurants was just a few steps from the villa and the food was amazing! You’ll need reservations or you can order a pizza to go, which we did do one night after a long day of adventures. The villa location and views were perfect with a short drive or 20-30 min walk to Positano where the shops, cafes and ferry are located. The villa was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The large patio had amazing views of the sea so we spent every evening outside enjoying the views. We loved that this location was right off the road with just a few steps to carry luggage. That was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend to anyone else looking for a beautiful place with amazing views and a charming hostess!

Beautiful View and Very Helpful Host

The property is located beautifully, with unobstructed views of the sea. The host, Antonella, was extremely helpful. We had a lot of questions, and she was always eager to assist. Also, we appreciated having a dish washer and a washer/dryer. I would recommend this property!

You can’t go wrong !

The property is lovely! The owner was super helpful, incredible with responding to all the many questions I had in advance, and truly cared about her guests and her place. The location is on the way out of Positano heading toward Praino on the coast . We were treated with unobstructed views and appreciated that it was a bit down the road from the busy town. Walking distance to the bus stop and to a local taverna for a nice meal or take away pizza made for easy options for exploring . A true gem on the coast !

Lovely villa

We very much enjoyed our stay in Positano. Clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. Great restaurant within walking distance. Only issue was arranging transportation at the last minute because taxis were rarely available and busses were unreliable, We needed to plan better. Antonella was a wonderful host.

Great stay very close to Positano

The accommodation was great - it has recently been refurbished. The apartment was very clean, the bedrooms were spacious, the mattresses were firm, shower pressure was great, with views of the sea. The location was also great, a 30-second walk to the SITA bus stop, as well as the local Positano bus, and 2 km to Positano. Antonella, the owner, was very nice, responsive, and helpful. The stay met all of our expectations.

Beautiful home in Positano

So to be honest we originally thought we would be slightly closer to the main part of Positano when we rented this property. However, as this was our first time visiting the area, we didn’t not realize how insanely busy and tourist filled Positano is. So the fact that this property is slightly away from the main part was a blessing. There are two local bus lines that can easily take you into Positano, or you can go the other way to visit Priano, Ravello, or Amalfi. This property is perfectly located to visit each. The home was incredibly clean, spacious, & comfortable. The views overlooking the water for sunset on the terrace were beautiful, And the hostess was incredibly helpful and informative. There is a beautiful and delicious restaurant right around the corner. If we ever visit the area again we would be delighted to stay here over and over.

Absolutely perfect!!!

Casa Le Calle is beautiful! The host, Antonella, greeted us upon arrival and helped us park, which was FREE, a rarity in Positano! The two bedrooms were spacious and each had a comfortable king bed. The bathrooms are very modern and also roomy. Everything was very clean and well stocked. Antonella had thought of everything…even a cocktail shaker and martini glasses, which we were thrilled to use. Communication was excellent and Antonella took great care of us. We would highly recommend staying at Casa Le Calle if you are planning to visit Positano!

Amazing Stay

We had an amazing time at Casa de Calle. A week before our stay Antonella reached out to check if we needed help booking transportation to the house. She was amazingly attentive the entire stay. She even went out of her way to make sure we were catching the right bus. The house was exactly as the listing. It was across from the SITA bus which comes by hourly, and takes you all over the Amalfi Coast. The rooms are bright and spacious, and have amazing views of the sea. The kitchen is fully stocked and organized & the bathrooms are clean and have great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Would 100% recommend staying here, and am looking forward to staying here angain.

Wonderful Property Great Outlook

The host could not have been more helpful in advice and help. The house is ideally located for visiting the whole Amalfi Coast no need for the car just leave it parked and use the very good bus service. The house had everything we needed tastefully decorated and two bathrooms were a bonus. Great balconies off each bedroom with stunning views of the coast and sea. Lovely restaurant only five minute walk away so overall this makes for great stay thank you.

Beautiful stay in Laurito

Antonella was the very best host! She put so much care into welcoming us to her property making sure everything was clean and beautiful. Her house was our favorite property we stayed at in our two wk trip to Italy. The property was exactly as the pictures on VRBO or even better. We felt right at home. She was so thoughtful by leaving us a bottle of Limoncello she made from her own lemons to leach us bus tickets for the bus conveniently located outside the property. And speaking of busses, she made sure to give us all of the different schedules and patiently explained it to me. Antonella, if we go back to visit Positano again, we would LOVE to stay in your home again, thank you so much ❤️

So happy to have found this beautiful house renovated perfectly with a fantastic view of the sea.

Antonella greeted us on arrival and gave us a tour of her house. Perfectly laid out for 4 adults and complete with everything you’ll need. Her hospitality is over the top; help with reservations, transfers and suggestions. We were able to visit Capri, Sorrento and Positano. The restaurant was just steps away and Antonella’s home made limoncello was a great addition. A+++ Thank you so much!
