Could not have been a more friendly and accommodating host. Stunning location and views. Sunrise was a religious experience. Very comfortable beds, simple and homey accommodations. Very private and quiet with small market nearby. Would have liked to stay longer. Thank you so much!

We loved our stay at Villa Gilda. The views are breathtaking! Sabatino was a wonderful host. He met us when we arrived and carried our luggage to the villa. He was available and responsive to all of our needs. He also has lovely wines at his shop just across the street. Would definitely recommend Villa Gilda to anyone wanting a great place to stay on the Amalfi coast.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful with amazing views. The location is very good, close to a couple restaurants, shops and food market. Sabatino and Nunzia were extremely helpful.

The view from Villa Gilda is exceptional and it provides a great place from which to visit towns of the Amalfi Coast and Capri once you get use to using the SITA buses into and out of Amalfi, where you can easily catch the water taxis to other destinations The host on site, Sabatino, was extremely helpful in getting us acquainted with using the buses and making sure you had everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. His daughter Nunzia, is a travel agent, and arranged for a car to pick us up in Naples as well as excursions to Herculaneum and Pompei. The unit was very lean, comfortable and extremely private. Basics were in the unit when we arrived and there is a small market just down the street. There are 3 restaurants in easy walking distance ranging from fancy, to a family Italian restaurant, to a bar providing really good food. The last two are highly recommended and are frequent by locals. The family restaurant was just up a few steps and across the street from the unit. The unit was extremely quiet.

If we could give 15 stars, we would in a heartbeat . There aren't enough adjectives to describe this villa . It's spell bounding and magical. Delicious and oh, we could have stayed for ever!!Sabatino, out host was extremely gracious, he arranged a private boat tour for us that will stay in our memories for years to come. If you want a once in a lifetime memory with a stunning view, this is it.

We had a wonderful stay, the host was absolutely superb and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. He was welcoming, attentive, and always available whenever we needed assistance or had questions.The house was spotless, well-maintained, and everything functioned perfectly throughout our stay. It truly felt like a home away from home, thanks to the care and hospitality provided by the host.We greatly appreciated the warm atmosphere, excellent communication, and attention to detail. The property is wonderful, perfect for a couple to spread out, big enough for 4 people. The hosts are the best we have ever had. Nunzia and Sabatini made sure that we, as foreign travelers, had everything we needed, including arranging rides to and from the train station, helping us with the local buses, and Sabatini, the owner, brought groceries to us upon check-in because it was a Sunday and the local store was closed. They really care about travelers, and made everything about our trip perfect. I highly recommend.

Sabitino and Nunzia were great hosts. The view from property was outstanding, plenty of room in the house. Restaurants, cafe, wine shop and grocery store were all within a 5 minute walk. Amazing Place!!!

We could not ask for a better location, home and overall friendly owners. This place is amazing. The rooms and bathrooms are beautiful as well as the gardens. The view is spectacular and waking up to the ocean was just incredible. We would definitely come back and stay again.

Beautiful quiet retreat

Thank you Sabatino for being such a great host and pointing us every time in the right direction. Conca di Marini is a nice quiet town and a beautiful peaceful retreat from the daytime business while visiting the many surrounding Amalfi coast larger towns. Parking was easily arranged with great little restaurants at a walking distance. Absolutely loved it!
