Napili Point Resort is located on the Northwest side of Maui a few miles north of Kaanapali and Lahaina. It is away from the highly populated resorts, but close enough to enjoy it. The condo is West-facing on Honokeana Cove and looks out directly to Molokai Island. From the condo you will have beautiful ocean views where, depending on the season, you may see surfers or watch the whales traverse the channel between Maui and Molokai. This particular unit is conveniently located on the ground level, OCEANFRONT and close to the Napili Point swimming pool.
Honokeana Cove is home to many sea turtles which makes the cove one of the best snorkeling places on Maui. You can walk out of the condo and watch the turtles, or you can jump in and see them up close. A short walk around the point is where you will find Napili Bay, beautiful sandy beach where you can swim, boogie board, snorkel, or just put a beach towel down and sun yourself.
The condo has been fully remodeled with upgraded A/C, state-of-the-art appliances and is fully furnished and equipped for everyday living. Most of the year air conditioning is not needed, just open the windows and doors and enjoy the breeze and listen to the waves.
The kitchen has granite countertops and upscale appliances. The living room has a 26" smart TV and features a sleeper couch that will accommodate 2. The bedroom has a California king bed and a 32" TV. Ceiling fans in both the bedroom and living room help to continually move air around the condo.

Napili Point Resort
A23 - This is the first time we have stayed on the lower lever near the pool.
It was wonderful, just as great as the upper levels. We will stay again.
A perfect place to stay!
This unit is very private. Good view. Spotted whales from our lanai. Yes the closet is small but when useful beach chairs and boogie board are placed on lanai there is plenty of room to hang clothes. Nicely decorated with upgraded kitchen and bathroom. Linens could be nicer but are supplied by resort. (Holes in blanket and quilt worn) Two fans and open windows kept the unit quite comfortable. A/C available if weather had been warmer. Great place to stay for 2 or even 4 with the sofa bed.
Daily maid service was a nice added service. I'd definitely return
Napili Point is a place of natural beauty, but ...
My previous stay at Napili Point was in a more private, larger unit, that had what I considered a better view of the cove & ocean. The turtles are still there making Napili Point (i.e., Honokeana Cove) truly beautiful. Numerous places in Napili & Kapalua are an pretty easy walk. The office & front desk are open from 7 a.m. to about 10 a.m.; I found them responsive. I'd say a location on Honokeana Cove moves this rating from "3 stars" to "4 stars".
Unit A-23 has been updated with nice kitchen counters/appliances & nice bathroom counters/shower; I considered the bathroom to be poorly lit. The unit is showing some age in the window coverings & furniture. It also sits in a somewhat awkward location in a "rear corner" of the development that is very close to the pool & has nearby sidewalks on 2 sides, as well as what I consider to be less than optimal views. To hang clothes in the only available closet, some of the other material in that closet had to be moved out of the closet; if you don't need to hang clothes (&/or if you use the beach-related material stored in the closet) this might not be an issue.
I'm not a regular VRBO user. I find their constant e-mails intrusive. Further, they were not very responsive when, up until the day before our arrival, I was trying to find out the details about accessing the unit; a simple "there is a fully staffed front desk 18 hours a day" would have been adequate.
The place was newly renovated, and perfectly done. The grounds were very nice, people very helpful and friendly. The location was ideal for us. Close to everything, but quiet and cozy area. The bay out front has great snorkeling, but you have to be skilled at getting in and out on the rocks; or take the three minute walk to the beach and go there.
