A newly renovated villa set in a quiet location, within walking distance of the beaches at Heron Bay and Alleynes Bay. Fully enclosed grounds with driveway and tropical garden. Private plunge pool and outside sunbathing terrace with loungers. Spacious covered terrace overlooking the garden, with comfortable seating and dining areas. Large lounge and open plan fully fitted kitchen. Master bedroom has a super king size bed and en-suite shower room. Ceiling fans in all rooms, plus additional free-standing fans. The famous Lonestar restaurant is within walking distance of the property.

The villa is a short distance from Holetown, with its many restaurants, bars and the Limegrove luxury shopping and lifestyle centre.

What can I say, the place is exactly as promised in the advert from the photos to the amenities on offer. From start to finish both Andy and Jools the hosts have been fantastic with any help we needed from a great taxi driver in Derek to any other information required. The location is fantastic with lots of beaches close by. It is a 20 minute walk to the supermarket and as we had no car we used the bus but in future I would book a taxi on the first day and do a big shop especially for heavy stuff. The pool was a wonderful bonus to cool off in and the gas barbecue was great for cooking on. Everything worked as it should so absolutely no complaints.I cannot speak highly enough of the experience we have had and would recommend this house to anyone wishing to experience life in Barbados.

Great fortnight in sunny Barbados.

Lovely quiet location, close to amenities and the beach. Excellent communication from the owners. We found it to be very comfortable and the neighbours very friendly. Great outdoor space both back and front. Loved the visiting monkeys and beautiful birdlife.

Warm and cozy

Our 2nd year staying at Dasiy's Dock and it will not be our last. Centrally located and within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. Jools and Andy are a pleasure to deal with and their thoughtful welcome gift was greatly appreciated.

An enjoyable week!

The house was as described and had everything that one would want including beach chairs and an umbrella. We could walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes and many restaurants are close by. we would definitely book this property again.

They say a Picture can be a million words but the actual place was even better.The property was clean and very spacious plenty different areas to relax and hangout. A wonderful dipping pool which was utilized everyday and the friendliest neighbors who made you feel part of the community for however long you were staying.

Had amazing stay nothing was too much trouble for hosts the replies were fast and organised. Just one hang up re air con needs to be in place once that’s sorted we will definitely be back every year. Fab house loved location like home from home just wish cud take my doggies

Lovely property

The photos don't do the house justice, the dip pool is large, the living areas are really big and the property is well equipped. It's located in a quiet residential street (which seems to show on the map as Porters Drive, not Glitter Bay Terrace). It's about 25 minute walk to the main supermarket with a lovely bakery only 5 min walk. Various beaches an easy walk. The owners could not have been more helpful.

January break

The property is located just off Highway 1B at Porters and ideally placed for strolling down to the beach. Just a mile from Holetown, it is an easy walk or a 4 minute bus ride. The Villa is well maintained, fresh and up to date with a good sized, well equipped kitchen and two modern bathrooms. The property does not feature A/C but this was not missed as there are ceiling fans and additional freestanding fans for night time if required. We certainly found it very comfortable. The outside veranda is lovely and we enjoyed having our breakfast out there and relaxing with a book. The kitchen as said, is fully equipped with a six ring gas cooker and oven along with a large fridge and washing machine. plenty of crockery and glasses and cooking utensils. The addition of the plunge pool in the back is a good feature. Andy was easily available on WhatsApp when we did have a question. We recommend the Villa for a quite relaxing holiday with easy access to the beach and Holetown/Speightstown. Missing it already!

Nice but some issues

The house is in great condition and minimalist, not at all cluttered, which we loved. Also very clean. However without air conditioning (which I think is going to be installed soon), the bedrooms were beyond warm at night and because there are no burglar bars (or mosquito nets) we couldn’t leave the windows open at night. The master bedroom in particular was an issue and we slept really poorly despite the fans. Unfortunately we also had challenges with the fridge, which was an inconvenience over the holiday period especially with young kids. The owners tried to resolve this but we were essentially left to deal with food going bad and having to go back and forth to a friend’s house to store items. Overall a very nice house but would benefit from an onsite property manager to resolve issues and I feel a little overpriced for a two bedroom without full pool or AC, sharing this objectively having stayed at several other properties on the island.

Pep We are pleased you liked our property and appreciated the efforts to maintain it to a high standard. We have now had AC fitted, however this is the first time guests have not been satisfied with the fans. You advised us of issues with the fridge 5 days after your arrival, just before Christmas, and we immediately sought an engineer, and one of our lovely neighbours offered to store your goods until this could be resolved, and I believe you did accept their kind offer. Due to the proximity to Christmas it was very difficult to source an engineer, snd I believe after a family member raised the issue with another lovely neighbour, he checked the fridge for you and found it to be working. We have had the fridge professionally checked since your departure, and it was found to be working fully. With regards to an on site property manager, we currently employ a housekeeper, gardener and the services of a highly reputable pool company,. We are also pleased you enjoyed the treats we left in the fridge. However disappointed to learn that you left all of the south facing windows open leaving the house insecure.

Quiet residential location and lovely neighbours, no through road so hardly any traffic going past. Great location and very easy walking distance to beach. It was also great to have the outside space as well as the covered terrace. The housekeeper Mary was lovely and an absolutely fantastic cleaner. Very easy contact with the owner.We did have a problem with the main fridge in our third week , but there was a second one so didn’t cause major problems, and the owner is looking into this.We did have a car but there was a bus stop near the end of the road.We had a fabulous time and hope to go again.
