Lovely Neighbourhood but Poor Overall Stay

The flat looks lovely. The neighbourhood is quiet, convenient to restaurants and the tube stations (halfway between Highbury & Islington on the Victoria Line and Holloway Rd. on the Piccadilly Line). We encountered a problem on our third day. Communication with the owner was very slow. After 2 days the owner agreed to call in someone to deal with the problem. Although improved the issue continued until the end of our stay. Communication remained slow. A partial refund was requested. The owner refunded 1 day despite the fact that we dealt with the issue for 5 days. Despite follow requests for further consideration the owner has not responded.

This review does not accurately reflect the situation. A professional company went into my flat to resolve the issue within one day of being alerted to the problem. It was a Sunday and fortunately the company was able to attend quickly. I have overheads and considering the issue I consider one days compensation was more than generous. Many companies would have offered nothing. I’m sorry for the inconvenience this caused to my visitors and apologised throughout. I’m therefore disappointed with this review . I’ve been renting my home for over 15 years and have never had a bad review like this.

Home Away from Home

This flat is beautiful and very spacious. It is wonderfully decorated and very comfortable. It is, quite literally, a home away from home. It is under a 10 minute walk in either direction to two major Tube lines (Piccadilly Line, which runs directly to and from Heathrow, and Islington Line) and, while it is located close to a very busy road, the street it is actually on is quiet and peaceful with a park just down the street. The street is a quintessential London street, which just adds to the character and charm of this property. I highly recommend staying at this property.
