Everything about our stay was fantastic! Our host Maria was so helpful from the moment we booked through the end of our stay. The house itself was just as pictured and the perfect accommodations for our group of 7. You can’t beat the location either. Close to many of the main staples in positano. Many great restaurants and shops in walking distance! When we come back to visit we will definitely stay here again. We loved it so much!!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Olimpia. Check in was simple and the property manager Maria was a delight to work with. She had many helpful suggestions. The views are breathtaking! We loved the covered terrace, pool and lawn. Also enjoyed being in a quieter part of town. Be prepared for many stairs-wherever you want to go! Highlights of our trip included the beaches and coves, the path of the gods hike and a boat tour along the Amalfi coast!! Also can’t forget to mention the food and the people!!

Amazing is an understatement!!

We could not be happier with our stay especially our property manager, Maria!! She made our stay extra special with her friendliness and attention to all the details we needed. I have a new friend for life!! The Villa was large with plenty of room and our door spaces for us to relax! It truly is like the photos!! We all can highly recommend staying here! Just be sure to be ready for the stairs. You’ll get your daily workout there alone!

Wonderful stay in Positano

The villa was beautiful and perfect for our stay in Positano with my family and the kids friends. The listing on the app does not truly do justice to the space and overall quality of the property, the view is breathtaking (we spent a lot of the holiday just staring out to sea with a drink in hand) and location is great. With a villa that is authentic, it’s a little quirky (but in a great way), sometimes the basics don’t work but everything here was perfect including air con, showers, pools, towels, beds etc. We went with my wife and I, our two kids and they brought a friend each, there was plenty of room, although keep in mind that each of the 4 rooms has a double bed. The villa was super clean and the regular visits from the cleaner were great. As the other reviews have said, Maria the host is simply the best host we have ever had, Maria is a lovely person, so helpful and she removes all stress from the experience. She gave us great recommendations for boat trips and food/drink, the local deli had some great takeaway food (Rosanas tiramisu was awesome). Fornillo beach was great fun as well. The only other thing I would say is the reality of Positano is that there are so many steps and in the heat it’s a real workout, which we actually found helpful given how much we ate and drank, but pls keep it in mind because everywhere is steep up or steep down. It is also an expensive place to visit, but the steps and money was all worth it for a wonderful experience.

Family fun

The location was terrific. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The rooms were large, clean and each had its own bathroom. Maria was an excellent host.

INCREDIBLE

A magnificent villa in Positano. A wonderful place to stay and experience the Amalfi lifestyle. The villa is wonderful with great bedrooms, wonderful living room, great outdoor area and what a pool, overlooking the sea. Maria is a wonderful host and met us when we arrived and was incredibly helpful. We totally enjoyed our time at the villa and Positano.

Positano magic

Had a wonderful family holiday in this lovely villa and Maria the host is wonderful. The pool was fantastic in the scorching heat and we never tired of the views. The steps up and down from the villa are hard work but you are more than rewarded by the peace and serenity

Wonderful property!

This is a wonderful property in Positano! My family and I loved our stay. We each had our own bedroom & bathroom. It was clean & spacious- updated nicely while maintaining the historical qualities of an Italian Villa. We loved the outside patio & pool area! It was within walking distance to a small supermarket & a little store operated by a local woman who made homemade pasta dishes that we could take back to the villa instead of cooking. The villas host- Maria was wonderful! She helped us with our transportation needs & other things that we needed during our stay. She was so sweet & helpful. Our stay here was definitely a highlight for our trip!

Great place!

We had a wonderful time in Positano while in town for our friend’s wedding. Maria Teresa was very responsive and helpful, she even helped us book our car transportation to and from Positano. We loved the house, it is traditional and has a very comfortable balcony great for group dinners.

Trip of a lifetime! Fantastic location.

I truly cannot say enough nice things about this property and our experience. I will start with the property itself. I think the photos are accurate, however, we were even more impressed with this property in person. The view cannot be captured in photos. It is stunning! The rooms are spacious. We had 8 girls staying here and never felt crowded. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. All rooms / bathrooms are large. The pool is beautiful. The outside seating area fit our group wonderfully for evening chats outside after we arrived home from dinner. The location is fantastic and this IS in proper Positano (some venues claim this but they are not). There are a decent amount of stairs to get to the main streets above and below the property so be prepared to walk but this is Positano - EVERYTHING is a climb/walk. They are doable (I may have took a few breaks here and there but it's all good). You will not be disappointed in this property. Now let's talk about the property manager, Maria. She is truly a one of a kind human that I hope to stay in touch with the rest of my life. She helped us SO much. She helped us with drivers from the airport, boat rentals, drivers to get to remote dinner locations. We honestly would not have been to have the trip we did if it were not for her. She is extremely responsive and every single thing she planned for us was smooth. The drivers were always on time, early even, and everyone was kind and respectful. We had 8 women - these traits are important. If you stay here, I STRONGLY encourage you to book your extra activities through her. I have already shared how amazing this property is with numerous friends and how truly grateful we are for having Maria has our local friend. I am excited for whoever gets to book this property. I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again. xo

Perfect place for the right people

I spent some time looking for a house in Positano, near the beach and town, where I could host my family and a few friends for two weeks. Villa Olimpia was the only place that fit the bill. I was a little suspicious before arriving since the pictures and descriptions were almost too perfect. To my surprise the house exceeded my expectations. The house has four bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a very functional kitchen, a dining room and living room. We spent most of our time in the open air, but shaded, terrace. We also used the pool a lot. There is also beautiful gardens on the property, as well as a very friendly marmalade cat that my daughter called Rigatoni (my 20 month old grand daughter called it "Toni"). Maria Teresa is the property manager and she was extremely friendly, competent and helpful, arranging car trips, advice, etc. A few caveats: There is parking available, but it is a few hundred meters away, and costs 50 euro's a day.I strongly advise against bringing a car. Driving here is not for the faint hearted and it is probably cheaper to hire cars when needed. Also the house is half way up steep steps. If you are really out of shape or have some mobility issues, this is not for you. But if that is the case Positano is not for you since it is a town on a very steep hill. The good news is that after two weeks I was very fit. Every morning I would walk down to Fornillo Beach at 7am, swim for 30 minutes, sneak an outdoor shower at Pulpetto Hotel and then charge up the steep steps. Not bad for a 62 year old with an artificial knee! I could then drink a lot of wine, eat a lot of great food with a clear conscience.
