On this recent trip to Europe we decided to drive through 7 countries and we stayed in 8 different properties in 5 of them. Casa Luna was by far the biggest disappointment. From the pictures and description posted on Expedia/VRBO we expected this property to be the highlight of our tour. Both were misleading. On a positive note, Casa Luna has a spectacular view as promised. It is also safe and has quite a bit of room for a larger group. It had a cozy vibe and at one time was a beautiful property. However the property is beginning to look somewhat neglected and appears to be for sale. The description on Expedia says that you will have the entire home to yourself with only your guests to share it with. There are in fact 3 units in this home, one on each level. The garden which was said to be part of Casa Luna was in fact occupied by another family who rented the unit below us. We had no access to the garden. The description also indicated a washer and dryer. There was no dryer and the washer had been dismantled. I took pictures and contacted the host to inform him of the damage as I did not want to be held responsible. He replied that the damage had been done by a previous guest and not to worry. Finally, we were asked to leave approximately €90 on the table to cover local taxes. I was not informed of this in advance and in all the other places we stayed this amount was included in the invoice. That being said, we did enjoy our stay at Casa Luna.

Es war einmal die Sauberkeit bemängelt worden, bei uns OK. Aber das Konzept des Hauses ist unklar. Es scheint, als ob es abgewohnt wird, bis es verkauft ist. Die Böden sind ruiniert, der Garten ein Trauerspiel. Die Pools sind leer...Die Küche ist schlecht ausgestattet: Knappe Geschirrmenge für die Zahl der Betten, nur 1 (ein!) kleines Küchenmesser, Mangel überall. Geizig, eine zu kleine Mülltüte in die Mülltonne zu quetschen.

Die Beschreibung der Unterkunft hat voll und ganz zugetroffen und uns wirklich begeistert. Dass jedes Zimmer ein eigenes Bad hat war sehr schön. Toll auch, dass eine Garage und ein Stellplatz vorhanden sind. Perfekt wäre noch, wenn der kleine Pool im Garten intakt wäre.

Geburtstagsfeier

Wir haben für meinen 25ten Geburtstag 3 Tage dieses Haus gemietet. Die Informationen zu dem Haus bekamen wir sehr kurzfristig, 1 Tag vor Ankunft. Der Ausblick vom Haus übertrifft alles. Es hatte genug Platz (für 8 Personen). Der Geschirrspüler war nicht wirklich effektiv im Saubermachen deswegen mussten wir alles noch von Hand nachwaschen. Es hatte auch leider nicht mehr genügend WC-Papier, sodass wir dann im Migros neues gekauft haben. Es hat sehr viele Filme zur Verfügung gestellt, und auch Netflix. Die Dusche im unteren Stock ist leider nicht wirklich brauchbar, weil das Wasser nicht abläuft und das Zimmer somit fast überschwemmt. Es hat viele Türen nach aussen, deswegen immer gut schauen, dass man diese schliesst und man muss den Türhenkel nach oben drücken zum abschliessen (als Tipp). Es hatte zwei Parkplätze (einen in der Garage und einen draussen) was sehr praktisch war. Es ist alles sehr offen, vorallem im unteren Stock (man hat nicht viel Privatsphäre), aber für uns war das in Ordnung. Das Haus lohnt sich für den Preis, einfach beachten, dass die Kurtaxen noch dazu kommen. Es war Winter und deswegen generell kälter im Haus, aber kleine Heizofen standen zur Verfügung. Wir kommen gerne einmal im Sommer wieder vorbei. :)
