The newly renovated Byblos holiday villa is located in the popular city of Rethymno on the resort island of Crete. While this elegant Greek vacation rental is close to many popular beaches, restaurants, and supermarkets, the Byblos luxury villa is also the ideal setting for a sumptuous, exclusive holiday.

This Crete villa is in the renowned holiday region of Rethymno and has a unique style, combining traditional elements with modern elegance. It can comfortably accommodate 10 guests in its main house, 2 maisonettes, and a small studio. Originally established in the 17th century, the villa has recently been renovated to ensure guests enjoy the perfect Greek holiday experience. The 2 living rooms at Byblos Villa are stylishly furnished with modern, comfortable seating, satellite TV and It’s a cast iron stove, it’s not made of stone. There is a uniquely styled dining room with ample seating for guests and elegant lighting. The kitchen comprises contemporary décor and is equipped with a 4-ring stove, oven, dishwasher, freezer, fridge, toaster, microwave, orange juicer, and Nespresso machine.ng stove, oven, dishwasher, freezer, fridge, toaster, microwave, orange juicer, and Nespresso machine. The holiday accommodation has 2 double bedrooms (1 super king-size bed, 1 king-size) and 2 mezzazine style with 1 double bed and 2 single beds each one. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and share an outdoor terrace. The double bedrooms have full ensuite bathrooms and there is an additional bathroom available. Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided. The outside entertainment area of the villa boasts the only heated swimming pool in the old town of Rethymno, as well as a beautiful, private rooftop garden with a relaxing seating area. Furthermore, the villa offers a gas BBQ grill for guests to use and outdoor dining furniture. There is a secure parking area for visitors just 150m away from the villa. Byblos Villa offers a generous welcome pack and encourages guests to enjoy all the luxuries on offer at the residence to ensure an unforgettable Greek holiday experience.
Important Notice :
-The pool can be heated with an extra charge of 350 euros per week to be paid in cash on arrival and must be requested at least one week in advance.Please note that the temperature of the heated pool goes up to approx. 5 degrees Celsius higher than the ambient air temperature.
-Parking with payment 150 meters away
-Heating for the fireplace and wood stove 30 euro per day extra charge.
-Because the property is located in the middle of the old town of Rethymnon, you must keep the noise down in specific hours. These are from 15:00 to 17:30 and from 23:00 and onwards.
Starting from January 1st, 2025 there is a new "environmental tax/fee" that the guests will have to pay for each day of their stay in our country according to the following schedule:
- From April to October, the rate of 15 Euros per day should be paid in cash on arrival.
- From November to March the amount of 4 Euro per day should be paid in cash on arrival.

Hello there,
I am Manos, owner and manager of CreteVillas4U. I have been in the hospitality sector long before CreteVillas4U, however. I was actually born, grew up, and spent most of my life in a hotel owned by my family. So, I guess it came as no surprise when I expressed my wish to study in Rhodes’ Tourism School and, later on, when I decided to start my own business in the sector.
One thing I learned growing up in a family-run hotel is that hospitality is more than hotel management, logistics and operations. It is a culture, passing down from one generation to the next. You can study to be a hotel manager but you cannot study to be hospitable.
I apply this philosophy in my business as well. The rule is simple: the guests of the villas I manage are my guests. As an active traveller, I expect nothing less myself.
The fourth generation of Dafermos hoteliers has already been born. I know now that my two beautiful children will probably follow my steps, like I did before them. There is a small difference though: they are smarter, more educated, better (big smile).
