Just Excellent !

We enjoyed absolutely everything ! Very clean rooms, perfect location (everything was in walking distance), excellent facilities, modern building and the view very spectacular. I usually never comment on any of the places I stay however the Kosta Mare merits any expectation. Thank you Kosta Mare for an amazing experience!

Wonderful villa for a family vacation in Crete

The villa is spacious and had everything we need. It is also looked brand new. The villa is very private with no adjacent neighbors and with unblocked view of the Cretan sea and the snow capped white mountain. Grocery shopping is less than 5 min away. The beautiful city Rethymono is about 10 min of drive where you can find nice restaurants, shops, museums and a Venetian Fortress. We will definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Crete.

Beautiful villa with stunning views

We loved our stay here. The villa is meticulously decorated. The views of the sea and the mountains are spectacular. We loved waking up to the sound of the sea and the goats and the smell of rosemary all around the property. The service by the management company is outstanding. They clean the pool and the house regularly. The house is a bit isolated so you need a car to drive around. But all in all a fantastic stay.

Dear Urška, thank you for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you loved your stay and appreciated the meticulous decoration of our beautiful Villa. The views of the sea and mountains truly are spectacular, and we’re glad you enjoyed the unique experience of waking up to the sound of the sea, the goats, and the delightful scent of rosemary. It’s also great to know that our team provided outstanding service and that the regular pool and house cleaning added to your comfort, as we always strive to provide our guests with the perfect experience. While the Villa’s secluded location offers peace and tranquility, we agree that a car is essential to explore the area. We’re delighted that you had a fantastic stay and would love to welcome you back soon! Travel Regards, ThinkVilla Team

Lovely, we’ll located villa

A really lovely Villa that is very well equipped, very comfortable and spacious. Lots of places to sit out in shade or sunshine. Lovely sunset views and very peaceful. We walked into old town Rethymno a couple of times which takes about an hour (about a10 minute drive). There’s some nice tavernas in Atsipopolou and Prines. It’s a good location for ease of exploring local ancient sites and some of the stunning g gorges on the south coast. Just over an hour on a good road into Heraklion. We had a fabulous grown up family holiday

A beautiful home

We loved the home. It was perfect for our family of seven. The location was great, the view Amazing in the yard very enjoyable. We were surprised however that the basement did not connect to the rest of the rest of the house inside. And we had to go outside to get to the main house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay we were however disappointed with the cleaning of the home. Each bedroom was provided one towel for four days. We had five towels for seven people for showers and pool time. When the cleaner came on our fourth day they did not stock toilet paper, dish detergent or laundry detergent. When we reached out to the host we were told that it was too much for them to provide it for all of us for seven days. And that guests were expected to purchase their own supplies. Four days later when they came to clean they stocked however still left us with no towels. For the amount of money we spent we should not have had to go out and buy towels, paper towels, toilet paper, dish detergent, laundry detergent. Other than that everything else was perfect

Dear Shannon, thank you for choosing our villa for your recent holidays in Crete and sharing your experience. We are very glad that you loved the home with its amazing views, and our retreat had been just perfect for your family holiday break! We would have welcomed the opportunity to assist you while you were still here, although we did not receive any feedback during your stay. The villa’s first floor indeed can be accessed from outdoors as visible online and in our description. The home had been thoughtfully prepared and equipped based on the number of guests you secured the villa for (five), of course if we would have been made aware that more guests would join we could have gladly arranged towel sets and provisions in addition accordingly. Housekeeping gladly changed the linen and bath towels during your vacations as the promised service offering, and maintaining sustainability, for environmental reasons pool towels are provided once. Supplies such as detergents are happily provided with courtesy for your first use on your arrival day & further grocery essentials can be purchased locally throughout your stay with us in our self catering villa. We would love to welcome you back sometime and are happy to share that we could also be of support in prestocking supplies even prior your arrival for outmost convenience. Thank you once again and hopefully we will see you again in Greece. Travel Regards, ThinkVilla Team.

Splendide

Amazing

We had a fabulous time in the villa. It was beyond our expectations. The villa is very clean, well maintained, equipped with everything you need and more, very private and with the breath taking views. Lots of space inside and outside. We were 2 families of 6 but another family of 3,4 persons would fit easily. Our favourite place was outside near the pool and in the hot tub.The villa's manager Valia was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. A car is a must as there are so many beautiful beaches around to visit. Rethymno city is 10 minutes drive, our advice to visit Old Town and have dinner at Prima Plora restaurant. The food at this restaurant is to die for and the views are spectacular. To say that we loved our stay at Kosta Mare villa is an understatement. Thank you Think Villa team for making feel us welcome! Kind Regards Indre

Great property for several couples or large family groups. It’s well equipped and has plenty of room. The decor, views and amenities are wonderful. A rental car is a must as it’s not walking distance to anything other than the very local shops and taverna.

Beautiful home in a fantastic spot

We were a group of 8 adults, 3 couples and 2 singles enjoying a late summer week without our older children. Villa Kosta Mare was perfect. Clean, tidy and very well appointed. We each had our own rooms and plenty of indoor space to chill out but also lots of communal space to share for barbecues al fresco or lounging in the sun. The amenities were first rate and the villa was clean and tidy. The contact with Valia and the team was superb and the midweek clean and linen change a nice surprise (really should read the full property review and not get stuck on the pictures :-). The views from the terrace are spectacular. A great place to sit, drink Aperol and watch the sun go down. Having used Homeaway four times in four different countries this year, this house was the best by a way. Rethymno is just a ten min drive away with loads to do and see and definitely a place to go if you like good food. Recommend Giannikis Taverna about 5 mins away and Prima Plora a more upmarket restaurant with amazing views of the old fort at night, just outside Rethymno. In the heat, very little is in walking distance so a car is a must. We are already planning next years trip back...we all had a brilliant week.

Stunning villa with amazing views

We were a family party of 8 adults and 1 toddler. The villa being split into two areas worked brilliantly for us and meant we all had the space we needed. The standard of the property , the facilities and the cleanliness both inside and out were second to none. The only thing that we were slightly disappointed with was that the villa was more remote than we had anticipated. There were very few places within reasonable walking distance when you take into account the temperatures and the hills. This didn’t spoil our stay though as the property manager recommended a very reliable local taxi company. Overall, an incredible villa with amazing views in a quiet location - we had a great time!

Dejlig villa - god velkomst

Dejlig udsigt over havet.
