Relax in this unique and quiet getaway, in the middle of nature, in front of the Tocoa River where you can fish for trout, practice kayaking, tubbing, you will find many places to walk, visit beautiful places or simply enjoy the cabin with Jacuzzi with the lullaby from the river. Cabin and guest house with fully equipped kitchen, there are three king size beds and five cozy cave-like rooms, with low ceilings with access stairs, three with queen size beds and two with two single beds, ideal and fun for families with children. As an option, two sofa beds are available. Four full bathrooms, one en-suite in the master bedroom, one in the guest house, one is handicapped accessible. A public toilet available. High speed internet and smart TVs. The cabin has 2 en suite rooms with king-side beds and balconies overlooking the river, 1 XL room with a king-size bed and a balcony overlooking the river, & 4 lofts with low ceilings with queen beds, (caves)comfortable and cozy.

Met our needs

Overall, the property met all the needs for our family vacation. The listing can be a bit misleading as it’s not a true seven bedroom property. The four cubby style rooms worked perfectly for my teenage sons and young adult daughters communication was very convenient with the property owners And any concerns were addressed immediately. The hot tubs could use a good cleaning prior to guests coming however, having two hot tubs makes this an appealing property. I would recommend this property to my friends and family.

Great Location! Home Left a Lot to be Desired

Pros • The size of the home was great for a family of 12 to be able to come together and the kitchen easily accommodated entire family • There was plenty of dishware and glassware • Location and gorgeous view of the Toccoa River • Owners were usually responsive fairly fast Cons • Not a “true” 7 bedroom as advertised and should be better described in the listing. There are 3 TRUE bedrooms. There are 4 loft-style rooms that are more suitable for children, unless they are short in stature and have no physical challenges that would prevent them from climbing up and down a small ladder • The house was not very clean: 1. There was hair, a dead bug, dirt, and what looked like black mold in the water and ice dispenser area; 2. The kitchen table was dirty – Using a crevice tool to clean the grooves is an easy solution for this; 3. Some of the dishes were dirty, and some of the drawers where the dishes and cookware are stored were dirty and one had hair; 4. There were spider webs in numerous places – outside on the cowhide chairs, the grills, the bedrooms, and on the outdoor furniture. It’s understandable that being surrounded by nature this is a natural occurrence; however, with guest checking in and cleaning being done prior to guests checking in, there should not be a significant accumulation if the home is cleaned the day of or same day guests are arriving; and 5. The hot tub did not “seem” to be clean: It’s possible the chlorine used for hot tubs has changed but the smell was very, very faint, and the pink ball in the hot tub was extremely slimy to touch • The water pressure was low, and the water was not very hot • Toilet paper was not provided in every bathroom at the start of the treat • Simple repairs are needed o Light fixture in kitchen is slightly hanging in honeymoon suite o Side entry/exit for game room/loft rooms has a fixture that is slightly hanging • The house MIGHT have a mold problem. The smell or a very similar smell to mold was prevalent throughout the house (visible in showers), refrigerator around ice maker, top nightstand drawers in the honeymoon suite, and other areas • The kitchen did not have any cooking or eating utensils. This is important to know PRIOR to arriving. The “honeymoon” suite had these items and had to be taken over to the main house • The honeymoon suite’s lock was extremely loose • One of the main bedrooms did not have working heat • The handle to both the washing machine and dryer were broken

Why this property: we lived there for 1 year and we were able to enjoy each of the days we spent there, each breakfast at the main porch bar in front of the kitchen either summer or winter, we did not want to let a morning go by without listening the lulling sound of the toccoa river that is right in front of the cabin, the roads, streams, landscapes, the views of the RIVER!! being able to fish in it, enjoy its flow and its currents, its rapids, tubing, kayaking and all this just down some stairs from the cabin or down from the driveway to a public place just walking there, Blue Ridge is its people and the beautiful views from the ridges of the blue mountains

The advantages of this cabin are that it is located on the Stanleys rapids of the Toccoa River, the peace of the sound of the rapids where you can sleep one of the best naps of your life with the song of the birds, its fresh breezes and full of fresh air from the mountain and 7 miles from everything, with its Apalachain Trails 5 minutes from the cabin and the number of pure water creeks that you will find on each path, each trail is an overdose of nature where peace is absolute.
