Luxurious shepherds hut with hot tub and pizza oven in the Scottish Trossachs
Poachers Hut – a cosy private luxurious Shepherds Hut with Hot Tub and Pizza Oven. It sits in its own field and if you enjoy the countryside, quietness, big skies, starry moonlit nights, wildlife, you will love it here. A quality comfy double bed with beautiful oak flooring, a nespresso coffee machine for that morning coffee. A cosy woodburner and en-suite shower and toilet, and Netflix TV, WIFI and Alexa. Outside there is a private south facing patio with a table and chairs and a Kadai fire pit/bbq, always on electric hot tub with massage jets and your very own wood fired pizza oven.
The Cardross Estate is a small family owned country estate in the Trossachs at Lake of Menteith, on the edge of the Trossachs & Loch Lomond National Park. Lots of hiking, biking, trails, swimming, water sports, mountains and Scottish history close-by. Some very good country pubs and restaurants, cafes, delis and Nick Nairn's casual restaurant at the Lake, just four minutes drive.

The Poachers Hut at Keepers Cottage" shepherds hut is set amidst some of the most picturesque scenery in the Trossachs in central Scotland and only 1.5 hours from Edinburgh and Glasgow. It has a stunning setting within the family run Cardross Estate of over four thousand acres of fields and woodland, with no light or noise pollution and lots of wildlife (some rare) all around. Just 4 minutes from Scotland’s only lake – the Lake of Menteith, 15 minutes from Aberfoyle, 20 minutes from Callander and 25 minutes from Stirling.
Lots of places to visit for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, drinks, coffees etc nearby.
Bike rental available in Aberfoyle and they will deliver to the shepherds hut.
The Woodhouse deli/butcher, 10 minutes away, is great for bbq or picnic rations.
