To the rear, there is a shared courtyard with furniture, and roadside permit parking included. Please note that smoking is not permitted. Great location

Very comfortable and thoughtful consideration of all our needs. Delightfully decorated and cosy. The outside space was planted with care and we enjoyed the area. Wonderful place to enjoy Morecambe by day and evening. Lovely recommendations in house which we took up. Thank you Jane.

Cute little cottage a stone's throw from the beach

Lovely, well-maintained and decorated little cottage by the sea; the only two less-than-ideal things were the lack of parking (but it only takes a few minutes to orient yourself and figure out where to park) and the fact that the outside space is shared with the residents of all the surrounding cottages so I wasn't comfortable with the idea of using the outside due to the number of people (and the number of those who smoked). This is just a quirk of mine, though, as I took this mini-break to get away from people so didn't really want to interact with anyone! It won't stop me returning to this cottage though, it is a great location and a lovely place to stay.

Great location and cottage, poor outdoor space

The cottage was great, very good location near to the sea front. Sofas and beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, everything as expected and in the photos. I would recommend the cottage as a place to stay and we enjoyed our break. The property is good for anyone who may have restricted mobility but ok with stairs. The only issue we had was with the outdoor space which we couldn’t use because of the bins lined up against the wall belonging to the property and included the bins for the next door neighbours. The neighbour has also strung their washing line across the back of the property and over the outdoor table/chairs so when the weather was good they put their washing out and we couldn’t use them. This also meant that we could not use the washing machine and dry our clothes as we couldn’t use the washing line.It would also have been useful to know about the large Alsatian dog who roams freely across the rear courtyard gardens, it might be friendly but not everyone likes dogs or may be allergic. The dog also had a habit of lying across the back door. Finally the previous people staying had taken the parking permit and although the owner offered to refund for parking elsewhere but it did mean that we couldn’t park near the property. Luckily we had a disabled blue badge which meant free parking, but still further away from the property.It was a shame about the outdoor space and parking permit, it did take the shine off what was a lovely cottage.
