Nice sea view, poor apartment condition
We checked in the apartment without any issues and the sea views were wonderful as described. However, the overall condition of the apartment was very poor and required constant communication and putting requests with the management personnel to rectify problems. The kitchen was not stocked and ready for daily meals. At our request we were provided new pots/pans, wine opener, wine glasses, kitchen towels, oven mitts to correct some of the deficiencies. The bathroom condition was similar not optimal with the main light not functioning and the tub drain not working correctly. The managing staff arranged for an electrician to replace the main light after few days. A/C was available only in the two bedrooms and in the main bedroom the water discharge was inside the room in bowl rather than being outside as is the norm. We were not told about this and the room flooded. We were told this is how it's due to historic town rules, which we did not find credible. This same A/C failed one week in our stay and we had to suffer another visit by a Technician for a repair. The A/C with water draining inside the unit was a major issue. The storage room inside this apartment had a foul smell from potentially a paint or varnish can that was being kept there. Windows and doors are paper thin and do not prevent any external noise, so frequent emptying of bottles inside recycle bins from local restaurants can be heard very loudly. No mosquito nets, prepare for a battle.
