Crandy Nook - a maisonette that sleeps 6 guests in 4 bedrooms

The accommodation consists of 2 large double bedrooms, one with bay window overlooking one of the main shopping areas of the town, a ¾ bedroom and single bedroom. All are well furnished with oak furniture, include luxury linen and towels, and have co-ordinating fabrics.

There are 2 luxury bathrooms, both have baths, walk-in showers and heated towel rails.

The kitchen and living area are located on the top floor and enjoy magnificent panoramic views. The fully fitted kitchen has a slate floor, granite worktops and integrated appliances with an abundance of storage and worktop space. The living / dining area, which is light and airy with a high ceiling, has a wall-mounted Smart TV, DVD player and CD player, two leather settees, dining table & six comfortable dining chairs.

There is a utility / drying room next to the main entrance and plenty of space for boots and coats.

Although there is no allocated parking, two parking permits are provided. Access is via a metal staircase (at the rear of the building) which leads to the entrance door on the first floor of this Victorian building.

Lovely property

Loved our family stay at Crandy Nook. Access to property is round back of building and up metal stairs. Living area on top floor with lovely views and well equipped kitchen . Location brilliant for centre of Keswick.

Comfortable apartment in the very centre of Keswick

Stayed in a Crandy Nook for 5 nights for some winter walking. Great location, near all the shops, pubs etc. It is well appointed, with decent furniture. Kitchen has everything you need, and lots of china so everything can go into the dishwasher. Lovely view from the dining table makes you want to get your walking gear on, and get out there. Service from Keswick Cottages was efficient and helpful

A very well equipped flat with a central location in Keswick. Lovely views from living area.

Crandy Nook is a very well equipped flat and has excellent views from the third floor living area. Two of the bedrooms are above a shopping street and we did experience some noise at night. The property was immaculate and well furnished.

Comfortable stay at Crandy Nook again!

Second time at the property and every bit as good as the first. Excellent area for taking off boots and walking gear, the property is comfortable, well equipped and furnished to a high standard. A central location accessed from the rear with free parking (note this is a 2 minute walk but we were able to unload/load on our arrival/departure outside). Beds were great, slept so well! Having a bathroom per 2 bedrooms on same floor as them is a plus. The only negatives are the flights of stairs, which could be an issue for some, and a general smell of food from the cafe below which permeated to the upper floor. Also leaving one toilet roll per bathroom is stingy for a week’s stay. None of this would prevent us staying again though as it is a lovely property or booking with Keswick Cottages as I always do.

Lovely and cosy

Crandy Nook is a lovely place to stay - warm, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. One of the beds hadn't been made up on arrival but after a quick phone call they sorted it within 10 minutes. Pillows could be a little comfier but that's just personal preference. Great location and parking permits were very handy. Highly recommend.

A spacious, modern accommodation in the heart of Keswick

We stayed at Crandy Nook with a group of 5 and a small dog for 3 nights. We found the accommodation very clean and spacious, arranged over 3 floors with 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. Even the single rooms had queen size beds. The kitchen/living area is at the top floor with stunning views of the hills around Keswick. There is a large TV, wifi and a dishwasher which made our stay very comfortable. I highly recommend this place to stay when you are in Keswick, especially for those who don't mind staircases.

Great views in central Keswick

Lovely, well appointed property in central Keswick with easy access to the town centre. Since the property is split over three levels there are plenty of stairs, but if you don't mind that the views are great.

Short break in January

Generally the property was a lovely find and we would be happy to go there again. However it possibly hadn't been used for a while and was very cold to begin with and took sometime to warm up. Unfortunately the cleaner had forgotten to leave a cleaning pack and the tablet to tell us what was what was completely flat but both quickly rectified. It was an induction hob but there were saucepans there that were incompatible with it which was disconcerting. NB A significant number of stairs which maybe an issue for some and some very heavy cupboard doors that lift upwards and don't lock in place needing to be held open when using the cupboards.

Excellent Accommodation

Just returned from 4 days in Keswick staying at Crandy Nook, its the 3rd time we have stayed there and it is just a fabulous accommodation to stay at, location is fantastic..This property sleeps 7, very spacious bedrooms, 2 fantastic bathrooms with shower cubicles and very large baths which I like to soak in after a good walk or climb. Great views from the living room/ kitchen. The accommodation was very clean and well presented and can't wait to take my family back for another stay at Keswick in this fabulous accommodation, *please note, people with mobility issues there are quite a few steps upto the property then a few flights of stairs.

Great location but must like stairs!

We wanted to be very central for our visit to Keswick so Crandy Nook was perfect for that. As the property is on 3 floors, you do find you're up and down stairs a lot, so only good for very mobile people and potentially not great if you have young children! There was no soap or toilet roll on our arrival but that was sorted out for us very quickly. I wonder what the house would be like in summer as we found it very warm (despite heating not being on), and we struggled to open some windows.
