Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Bannau Brychein (Brecon Beacons) National Park and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
Town: Between the old town of Machynlleth and the lovely coastal village of Aberdovey in the southern tip of the Snowdonia National Park, the small hamlet of Cwrt stands on the edge of the magnificent Happy Valley. Aberdovey is known for its moderate temperature, sandy beaches, sailing, and an 18-hole championship links golf course. With its pastel-colored cottages, tiny shops, inns, and great restaurants that specialise in local seafood, the area is sometimes called to as a "artist's paradise." It also has some of the best beaches in Britain, with four miles of golden sand-dune backed beachfront stretching north to Tywyn. Sunbathers, swimmers, surfers, and anglers flock to the beaches, while the estuary attracts a diverse group of watersports enthusiasts. The Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy mountain ranges are easily accessible, and the Dovey and Dysynni valleys adjacent add to the appeal. It's a great spot for walkers, climbers, and wildlife watchers, and it's open all year.
