This furnished apartment is located in Altstadt Grossbasel, the 1st district of Basel and one of the city's oldest areas. Much of Basel's culture, dining, and shopping is concentrated in this lovely area. Neighborhood highlights include Markplatz, the setting for Basel's Town Hall and a bustling farmers market. There are wonderful restaurants throughout the neighborhood, whether you're looking for Swiss food or international cuisine. Altstadt Grossbasel is the site for Basel's natural history museum, a wonderful outing for the whole family, as is the one of the kind Toy Museum, set on the neighborhood's periphery. It's easy to get around the neighborhood and commute to other parts of Basel using local bus and tram service.
