Perfect for a family!
From start to finish it was easy. Simple booking process Simple arrival process Easy check out Accommodation was perfect for us as a family. Beds are a great size as we are a tall family and that really matters to us! Bathrooms are lovely, clean sleek and a fab shower, which is always a bonus for me. Kitchen facilities were just what we needed, 2 ring hob, fridge freezer and sink. We cooked a few meals for the family. The ski resort is just amazing. We took the children as learners to a nearby small resort for a few days and then to the main resort for 4 days. They loved it and they had enough to practice their skills on. We also skiied the area without the children and it is vast. When skiing the views are just amazing and the food on the slopes is the best I’ve had anywhere and we’ve skiied a lot! Also we didn’t queue for any lifts! Now that’s the dream! To sum it up it’s just a great place to stay and ski. We have already booked for next year and looking forward to taking the kids on some red runs!

Fantastic apartment in beautiful area
The apartment was perfect for our family of 5 - it was comfortable and spacious, not something we are used to in some of the ski resorts we have been to! It is 2 mins walk from the village centre, and the ski bus stop is practically outside the house, so the location could not have been better. The owners were really friendly and English speaking, which was helpful! The area is beautiful, and the skiing was very good. The mountain alms were really good - some of the bets food I have had in Austria. I think we will return for Summer!

My wife and I bought Haus Schneeberg at the end of 2012. I am French and my wife is English. I also speak basic German, Italian and Spanish. I used to be a ski instructor in France, and my wife was a commercial manager and we love Austria and the mountains! We have spent a lot of time exploring the area on skis and on feet and bikes, so we can advise you on the best places to ski/walk/bike depending on your ability and what you are looking for.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the scenery of the Hochkoenig as soon as we saw it! Also, the proximity to the centre of the village and the bus stop, and gondola sold it to us!
