Covenas Beach Condo

The unit is on the eighth floor. The view is incredible, with a huge sliding glass door that can be left open all day to enjoy the breeze. It is right on the beach. The unit itself is great. It appears brand new as everything is in great shape, and the Housekeeper keeps it immaculate during your stay. There are several nice restaurants within 5 minutes’ walk, and we enjoyed them. Also, if you eat in, the kitchen is well stocked and there is a ARA grocery store a couple of miles away. We would certainly return to this location and this rental.

Unacceptable experience.

Communication with the host was extremely poor. After having to cancel then rebook due to a change of plans, the host said there was no booking to confirm. While trying to resolve this with the host (who was unable to read their own dashboard correctly) I passed the cancellation window. I was unable to cancel for a final change of plans and lost all money paid. Host was unwilling to work with us saying they didn’t have our money, yet VRBO customer service said the host could decide to refund some or all of the payment. Very dishonest host, will not book here again.
