For everyone who is looking for something that combines a great location, a luxurious property and all the best on site facilities-the Royal William Yard Mills Bakery is the perfect solution.


The apartments are found in the historic quarter of city, just a short distance from everything that people visiting Plymouth want to see. Royal William Yard Harbour is a grade I listed former Royal Navy building that has been reborn into bars, cafes, restaurants and art galleries as well as office and residential space. Within it are the Mills Bakery apartments which offer the perfect balance of the period features of the location with the latest in modern technology and conveniences. Their waterfront location offers the very best panoramic views. Within a few minutes’ walk of the apartments are a number of restaurants, including Pho , Bistro Pierre , Hub Box , Wagamama , Le Vinogble . Later this year we expecting Everyman Boutique Cinema to open its door to all residents and non residents of the Yard . There are also regular open air cinema events and a weekly farmer’s market in addition to the permanent events and features.

This gorgeous Grade 1 listed suite is located on the second floor of Mill's Bakery .

Constructed between 1825 and 1831, Royal William Yard is steeped in history and considered to be one of the most important groups of historic military buildings in Britain and the largest collection of Grade I Listed military buildings in Europe.

Superbly located between the River Tamar and Plymouth Sound, Royal William Yard provides breath-taking views and a great place to live or base your business.

It boasts an array of both local and more widely known eating and drinking experiences including Bistrot Pierre, Wildwood, Wagamamas, ClubHouse, Seco Lounge, Le Vignoble and Prezzo, Hub Box & Pho(Vietnamese)

There's a wealth of great events and places to explore - like our award-winning Good Food Market, regular Yard music sessions, Wimbledon on the green and Weekend of Wonders.

From yoga on the lawn, to boot camps and running groups, come and experience a wide range of fitness classes. Alternatively take a stroll along the famous South West Coast Path and descend the stunning steps from Devils Point into the Yard. There is an on-site marina offering berthing and a regular ferry service as well stand up paddle boarding which launches from Firestone Arches. Newest addition to the Yard is Block Gym and Everyman Boutique Cinema .

This spacious , designed with attention to details one bedroom apartment is situated on the second floor of Mill's Bakery.
With open plan kitchen-dining room and inviting lounge this space would comfortably host up to 4 people. Chesterfield sofa bed would provide rest for two adults . The bedroom with king size bed and dressing table is located on the mezzanine . Please note as this is a Grade 1 listed building we are unable to fit a blinds on our sky lights windows in main bedroom . For our guests convenience we had provided black out eye masks .

Apartment was well furnished, good connectivity, comfortable bed and right next to the ferry to Plymouth. Easy parking (fee) and several restaurants and bars to choose from close by. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the apartment.

A fabulous apartment in a lovely location!

This split level apartment offered really outstanding comfort and style! It was very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The mezzanine bedroom was stunning with skylights so you could see the starlit night. It was the perfect location to get ready for our wedding with plenty of changing space, mirrors and a super bathroom.

We were kindly offered an upgrade to a contemporary apartment with a Seaview and parking. The apartment was clean and beautifully decorated throughout. There were nice little touches like fresh eggs and apples for us to enjoy. Ideal location right near restaurants and bars, and only a 5 minute drive to the Barbican. Seamless transaction and clear instructions for entry. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment was great

We loved the apartment, the decor looked amazing. The bed was the most comfortable bed we've ever stayed it. There was a lovely welcome of some breakfast items in the fridge and cupboard which we were not expecting.

Stylish apartment, great location, lovely host.

We had originally booked an alternative apartment but the host kindly upgraded us to an apartment with a Seaview and free parking.The apartment is beautifully decorated throughout with a contemporary feel.The communication between the host was great!The apartment had fresh eggs and milk in the fridge and fresh fruit on the table.Tea and coffee supply. The location was ideal, right on the harbour and a 5 minute drive to the Barbican/Hoe.There are restaurants and bars less than one minutes walk away.Would highly recommend and will certainly be staying again.Thanks so much !
