Completely renovated 16th century charming apartment, in one of the ancient streets of Bologna, a few steps from Piazza Maggiore.
The apartment, located on the ground floor, opens onto a large and bright living room, modernly furnished, but decorated with elements recalling its original style. It includes a dining table, a double sofa bed, a cabinet with a TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, an oven and an espresso coffee machine.
Continuing on the right, guests will find two bright and elegant bedrooms with a queen-size bed each. One is equipped with a mirrored closet, TV and desk, the other one has a shelf cabinet with a clothes rack and access to a small outdoor space that can be used for hanging out the laundry.
A bathroom with shower, with direct access from one of the two bedroom, completes the layout.
*The apartment is located in the ZTL area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
Bologna is a city of art, culture and trade. The capital of Emilia-Romagna is also known as “Dotta” (erudite), being the oldest university of the West, as “Grassa” (fat) for its gastronomic delights and “Rossa” (red) for the colors characterizing its old town. Its soul is in the medieval old town, one of the biggest in Europe, dotted in taverns, workshops and theaters, characterized by almost 40 km of porticoes. In the city center there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna can surprise you in every season.
Around 2,6 km from the apartment there is the central train station, while the airport is around 20 minutes away by car.

Great location, very nice walk into the central areas. Check in and check out we're very easy! Everything was clean. The only thing to note was there is a smell of plumbing, I'm not sure if there's anything they can do about it, maybe some air fresheners might help, or have the plumber in but it might be a building issue.
This apartment was nicely furnished, had everything you would need, including nespresso pods! It is just as pictured - however, there was a strong sewer stench the first night. You could tell that they were aware of it, with all the "scent" plugs, spays, etc. To be honest, we did not notify them because we were so busy enjoying Bologna and it was not terrible after the first night.

The flat is smelling very very bad, no fork and spons, plates just enough for 2 people, insects in the bed, dirty bed, bathroom no commodities to hang towels/Clothes, no strong communication with owner, no luminicity, no heating possible. This location is to expensive for the prestation. We absolutely do not recommand this flat and ask some money back. Thank you best Rgds
The apartment was very nice, clean and easy in/out. The neighborhood was what we were hoping for! Sophia checked us in and very helpful. Getting in contact with WI staff was difficult. We texted, messaged and always received an auto reply. The TV in the bedroom with the bath didn’t have a power cord, so Sophia purchased one for the tv. It wasn’t a big deal as we were away exploring everyday. The toilet broke in that after a flush the push flusher was broke. We messaged WI and received an auto replay that they were available from 10 am - 7 pm daily. The running water was annoying all night. My main concern was what if the water supply had broke or something and was spraying everywhere? We didn’t know where shut off was, or if the toilet had broke all together. Also there were no eating utensils to be found and there was old food in one of the kitchen cabinets. Only being available for 9 hours a day doesn’t seem like good business practice especially for a possible emergency. WI did get a plumber in the next day to fix and he said if it stuck again to push a little harder to unstick. Again, not good. Overall our stay was nice, beds were comfortable and as mentioned neighborhood was great. Prop mgr needs to be available better. Use an answereing service that can screen calls to make sure questions/concerns aren’t frivilous. They can then contact owner/mgr.
