Upon walking into Apartment 304 you immediately feel relaxed and at home. The corridor leads you straight through to the light, bright living area. The large windows provide clear views across to Clifford's Tower and the River Foss and with the windows open wide you can sit and just enjoy the view. The dining table is set next to the window so you can continue to enjoy the view when enjoying your family meal, easily prepared in the fully fitted kitchen, with breakfast bar. The lounge area comfortably sits everyone so that you are able to sit back, relax and enjoy your favourite film on Prime, or the not to be missed match on BT Sport.

The property also has 3 large bedrooms, the master suite has a dressing area complete with a chair from which, again you can just sit, take time to relax and enjoy the view. It also benefits from an en suite shower room. The second bedroom, again with views across to Clifford's Tower, is serviced by the house bathroom, which has a bath with shower over, there is also a third double bedroom with an en suite shower room. Two dedicated Parking Spaces. Family long break

Apartment was very comfortable and quiet. Had a fantastic home from home feel. Receptionists all very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here. Have used other apartment in this block but this one has so much more space.

An excellent place to stay. Would definitely return

A beautiful apartment in a superb location. It was exceptionally clean and well-presented. The only slight issues were the lack of air conditioning (we were fortunate enough to be there during a period of hot weather and the main living area was still very warm with the windows open and fan on) and the temperature of the water for the showers/bath (which seemed to have a mind of its own and varied from cold to very hot-you never knew what you would get). Despite this we would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable stay

Our family of 5 stayed here for 3 nights. The apartment was very clean, warm and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay and the welcome hamper provided was a really lovely touch. The location of he apartment couldn’t have been better. Beautiful view over the river and tower and was so central to excellent restaurants and all the main attractions were an easy walk away. The safe and secure parking was a real bonus for us, as we walked every where so had no need to worry over parking. Highly recommend accommodation.

A short break with friends

We had a fantastic time in York. The apartment was perfect, clean and very well appointed, the beds were so comfortable. It was truly a beautiful home from home. We had no problem with any noise and the staff on the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The views were great too. I would highly recommend this apartment.

We loved staying in this spacious property with a thoughtful layout. The cleanliness standards are excellent; the kitchen is well equipped; the bedrooms are comfortable; the bathrooms are nice; we used the laundry and the ironing facilities. The ceiling to floor glass windows create a bright and cheerful ambiance. The check-in is user friendly once you read and follow the steps. The location is outstanding in terms of accessibility within minutes to so many tourist attractions, and to restaurants and to Spark food court. The neighborhood is safe, convenient, vibrant, and cheerful. Our toddler grandkids enjoyed playing in the playground with zip line, and in the bear bench park. It was a breeze going to grocery market and running errands. The apartment felt like home away from home!

Excellent apartment in perfect location

This was the perfect property for three couples, just off the city centre with river and castle views. The apartment building entrance was impressive, the concierge really helpful and the common areas clean and tidy. The apartment itself was immaculate and very well equipped. The building was quiet and having a secure car park was a real bonus. We could all imagine ourselves living there! We’d definitely recommend it and hope to return at some point. Stays York were a pleasure to deal with, and the welcome gift hamper was a real treat.

Everything we wanted and more

What a lovely apartment! Spacious, stylish, comfortable, well equipped, and just a few minutes walk from the heart of York. We were hugely impressed with this 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment which we stayed in for 4 nights for a family get-together. From the moment we arrived to the yummy welcome hamper of Yorkshire products, we felt pampered and relaxed. It's also worth saying that pre-arrival instructions were detailed and helpful as was a call to check we had all the info we needed a few days before we set off. We would definitely want to book this apartment again when we next head to York.

A week in York

We had a veery enjoyable visit and the apartment and building was excellent. The only criticism was the kitchen equipment which was a little lacking. Not enough mugs or glasses for 6 adults and saucepans were sparse and had ill fitting lids. Various kitchen utensils not present. However this did not detract from our overall enjoyment.

So peaceful, yet in the city

You wouldn’t know you were in the centre of York! The view from the main living room was of the River Foss and trees, so peaceful. A very comfortable and practical living/ dining/ kitchen area. Spacious bedrooms with good showers, and a bath! 2 parking spaces, a bonus in York! Only a few minutes walk into York itself. You must try the restaurants in Walmgate, 2 minutes away. The Thai, Italian, Yemen and Polish restaurants all superb. Enjoy!

Lovely location, stunning apartment

The whole family loved this apartment and its location. The welcome gift bag was a lovely surprise. We would happily stay there again if we visited York. A couple of minor points for attention, only one of the two key locker cupboards had a Stays York sign which caused confusion getting the keys after a long & tiring drive as it took a while to located the named box which was in the cupboard without the sign on. We've never stayed at a place with gated carpark entry, the black fob is for the car park and we pushed 1, the grey fob is for the main doors. A mention on the welcome email would be helpful prior to reaching the property.

Wonderful week

Felt spoilt from arrival to departure. Concierge ladies so helpful. Parking easy. Treat bag on arrival full of unique treats we have never tasted before. Apartment such a happy bright comfortable space. We were blessed with 5 days of March sun but even cheerful on grey days. Everything so near and if not taxis so easy to book. Playing board games on a table with a view. Kitchen well equipped although we ate out a lot. Must recommend Rustique bistro and pizza cresci 2 mins walk away eat in or take away best outside Italy! Powerful hot showers. Easy hand held vac I hate Henrys!!!! Could say more but back now in September for 10 days which says it all. Lastly Stays York could not have been any better for service helpand advise. A team to be proud of.

Pretty apartment in great location

Overall this property was very nice, spacious and clean. We were a group of 3 couples. We loved the large windows that provided so much light and wonderful views. The location was ideal. Our concerns involve two things: the hot water and the fob for parking. We realize that there's a limit to how much hot water is available at one time, and that there's a booster if needed. However, when the first person to use the hot water for a shower in the morning finds that the hot water runs out after 2 minutes, that's a problem. Also, even though we know how to use European style showers/bath water controls, the hot water (when it was available) could not be controlled even by turning the right hand buttoned control in 2 of the baths; we either were burned or had cold water, nothing in the middle. We took cold showers as maybe it was our lack of understanding, but perhaps this could be explained in some information pack. Our second concern was the fob for parking. We got the fobs from the guest closet for both the apartment and parking, then ran back out to the vehicle to enter the locked parking area, but there were no instructions on how to use the fob to open the parking gate! Someone else let us in using their fob, which didn't look like ours. Did learn from front desk to push Number 1 to use the gate. Additionally, we had two parking spaces but only one fob for parking. How can two vehicles be out and about with only one having access to return to the parking area?

Excellent

There was nothing we could fault with this apartment, everything was great. Parking in York is an added bonus too. Lovely touch with the welcome hamper, fresh milk would be better than UHT, but can understand the reasons why it was supplied in the welcome pack.
