I wanted to restore this corner of paradise, to give myself the joy of the green as far as the eye can see, peeking out of the windows, getting up in the morning, or having lunch in the garden inserted in the walls of the castle designed by Leonardo da Vinci.
A fortress that belonged to the Venetians, then Austiracians and finally Italy, in a lively and picturesque town that expresses the charm of Mitelleuropa, the colors of the nearby Adriatic, the flavors and aromas of the Collio, nearby Slovenia and the strength of the Friulian peaks .
Paid parking spaces available next to the house (free weekend), in the Parco della Rotonda (50 meters away) there are multiple free parking spaces in the shade.
Rental cars, scooters or e-bikes are available directly in the structure - by reservation.
Castello Di Spessa Golf & Country Club, 8 km away.
AIRPLANE: Trieste Airport (TRS) DISTANCE 9 km.
I can organize shuttle service from Trieste airport (TRS) at competitive prices.
TRAIN: Train station connections for Trieste-Venice distance 3 km.
Slovenian border and Nova Goriza Casino (SLO) distance 14 km.
If golf is your passion, come and practice it in the green hills of the Collio Goriziano. The 18-hole course of the Castello di Spessa Golf & Country Club immersed in gentle ups and downs dotted with vineyards and olive trees, surrounded by ponds and fountains, give the course an ancient charm, in the same castle that was Casanova's home.

Perfect place for holidays

Wonderful stay at Gradisca

We had a absolutely well equipped appartement, mostly sunny weather and enjoyed our stay in beautiful Friuli. Lorenzo was always helpful if needed.

altijd ruimte voor verbetering

Prachtig verblijf, super schoon, mooi uitzicht. Toch wel een paar puntjes die in de beschrijving mochten staan zoals appartement op bovenste verdieping (2 hoog) zonder lift. Toilet bevond zich op de badkamer nog een verdieping hoger. Het was erg warm op het moment dat wij er waren, airco had zeker geen overbodige luxe geweest. Verde wel een super vakantie gehad, veel gezien zoals Triest, Muggia, Grado, Tolmin, Udine, enz. Lorenzo is een voortreffelijke gastheer, die bijna dagelijks vroeg hoe ons verblijf was en ons telkens tips gaf.

Der Aufenthalt war schön, bis der Vermieter, der eigentlich am Anfang sehr nett war, nach unserer Abreise eine unbewiesene Schadensforderung stellte , die wir nicht akzeptierten und uns einfach 128€ für einen 1 Jahr alten Gartentisch abbucht, den wir angeblich zerkratzt hätten. Fewo sagt dazu nichts oder meldet sich aufgrund unserer Widerrede. Nie wieder Fewo. uns einfach

Damage to this corner of paradise can happen; not warning hoping that everything goes unnoticed seems to me a disrespectful practice. Außergewöhnliche Ferienwohnung

gelegen mit fußläufig erreichbaren Zielen, u.a. die Trattoria la Girondha (5 ⭐️) oder das Ristorante Il Pellegrino (3 ⭐️). Triest, Udine, Aquilea und selbst Venedig (Zug ab Monfalcone) – alles easy!

Sehr schönes Appartement, bestens ausgestattet,hervorzuheben die Küchenaustattung! Unsere Hunde hatten auch Freiraum,der kleine Garten befindet sich direkt auf der Stadtmauer (Kasematten), Die etwas kühleren Temperaturen haben wir mit dem Holzofen überbrückt, Sehr freundlicher Vermieter, hat uns im Vorfeld bestens informiert, Wir kommen sicher wieder!

BattistiCastle is magic!

Lorenzo ist einfach der perfekte Gastgeber. So freundlich, hilsbereit und großzügig. Wir haben uns in BattistiCastle einfach pudelwohl gefühlt, vor allem in dem wunderschönen Garten mit dem einzigartigen Blick von der Burgmauer über die tolle friaulinische Landschaft. Wunderbare Wohnung

Wunderschöne, moderne Wohnung mit Außenterasse auf Stadtmauer mit Blick ins weite Tal. Küche perfekt umd technisch hochwertig ausgestattet. Helle Räume und ansprechende Möblierung. Vermieter ist sehr zuvorkommend, reagiert schnell und gibt Tipps für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt. Eine gute Lage für Ausflüge in der Region Friaul.
