Victorian country cottage sleeping five, with a beautiful flowering large garden and on site free parking for up to three cars. National Trust gardens, woodlands, surrounding villages and towns are nearby. The pretty village of Handcross is close to the main London to Brighton road making it easily accessible and a great base to explore Sussex.

Kitchen area



Country kitchen with a modern finish providing everything you need to be fully self catered. You'll find a double oven with grill, gas four ring hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, and dishwasher. The free standing fridge freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer are located in the adjacent utility area by the front door.



Dining area



Wooden table with five chairs and a kitchen dresser completes the room, making for a good space to socialise.



Living Room



Cottage style cosy living room with two double sofas and an occasional chair. There is a dimmer floor lamp, coffee table, TV, DVD player, and open fire place creating a warm atmosphere for those chilly nights.



Bedroom 1



Loft ceiling double bedroom on the first floor with bedside drawers, lamps, chest of drawers and built in wardrobe.



Bedroom 2



Single bedroom on the first floor with occasional chair, chest of drawers, bedside table and lamp.



Bedroom 3



Twin bedroom on the ground floor with en suite WC and sink, slimline wardrobe with mirror, floor lamp, and drawers.

White bathroom suite with bath and shower, WC, sink and heated towel rail.

Attached to the ground floor twin bedroom is an additional WC and sink.



Outside Space

Large flowering garden lovingly cared for with organic vegetables when in season. There is an outdoor table and chair to seat eight, and a children's play area.

Beeches Cottage is well positioned to explore the surrounding attractions, countryside, towns and villages. The village of Handcross is one mile away and has a pub, butchers, cafes, and convenience store. High Beeches Gardens is 300m away and the Nymans estate is a 3 minute drive or 25 minute walk. Tilgate Park near Crawley is a 12 minute drive and offers water sports, fisheries, golf, Go Ape, Walled Garden, Maze, and Nature Centre. The beach city of Brighton & Hove is a 30 minute drive south, and London is a 45 minute train ride from Balcombe or Haywards Heath.
