Perfect location
This is located under the Aegean Tavern - which was delicious. It was a short hike to climbing, near the coffee shop - and all the other shops too. The bed was super comfortable and an actual American king sized bed (I wasn't sure since European sizing is always smaller).
We had a problem with the shower and, unknown to us, it was a holiday weekend. The host immediately dropped everything to fix the problem. I loved kalymnos so much I'm already planning to come back and this host will be my first choice (I would say this room, but we are planning to bring the kids next time so will need their 3-bedroom option).
Things to know. It's 51 uneven stairs down to the apartment. Which was way better than our friends house that had a steep hill and then 2 flights of stairs!
You don't drink the water. It's not harmful, but it's super salty. You'll notice that when showering.
The 51 steps continue down to the beach! Which would have been amazing if it hadn't been unseasonably cold while we were there. I still put my feet in though
If you have an allergy to fabric softener let them know in advance.
We didn't end up cooking as planned because the restaurants were so good, but they do have a stocked kitchen.
The washing machine was not installed yet, but there's a commerical laundry right at the top of the stairs across the street.
They also arranged a taxi for us.
I highly recommend this host and this apartment.
