Another lovely 7 days - ticks every box

Is there parking so I can just bin the car and get on with the holiday as soon as I arrive? ✔️ Is it extremely easy to access the apartment upon arrival? ✔️ Can I walk to the beach in under a minute, or the main street and shops in two minutes? ✔️ Is the apartment immaculate and well-equipped? ✔️ Is there a panoramic view of the sea, and everything happening on the sea-front? ✔️ Have I already booked for next year? ✔️

Your Home away from Home.

The moment you walk through the front door at Sunnybeach apartments you know you’ve made the right choice. The decor is modern and fresh and has that homely feel. The Lighthouse studio apartment is compact but has everything you need for that well earnt get away. The views of Paignton seafront are stunning and having the small balcony enables you to take in the ambience of this ideal location. Everything about Sunnybeach sums up quality. The Lighthouse studio is comfortable and well designed. I only wish we could have stayed a few extra days. I would definitely recommend Sunnybeach. It has everything you need and more!

Back again, and it's as great as always!

This was our 4th visit to this apartment over the last few years, and we're already booked for summer 2024. As usual, it didn't disappoint. Big considerations for us are the location (particularly proximity to the harbour and the "high street"), the parking, the sea view, the facilities and the ease of check-in/out. While there's avaibility on the future dates we may want, I don't see us looking elsewhere when this place ticks all those boxes in spades.

Just tempted to cut/paste our previous stays!

We keep coming back here because for us it ticks every box. It's on the seafront, which means waking up to a seaview, having a ring-side view of anything happening such as bikers night, fireworks, anything on the sea, plus it's a one minute walk across the road for a quick swim, or a drink at the harbour before catching the ferry across to Brixham or Torquay. There is parking, which is a big thing for us travelling from North Bucks, it is within 2mins walk of the "High Street" for a pint, some shopping, or a jump on the steam-train to Dartmouth. Everything in the apartment is always spotless, the kitchen facilities are excellent, and there's even a smart TV for catching up on the soaps over breakfast while deciding what to do for the day! Already booked for next time!

Disgusting dirty mattress cover

We have stayed here a few times now and it has always been good. This time we stayed everything looked good on the surface but wasn’t quite as clean as usual when stripping the bed at the end of our stay the mattress cover was absolutely filthy, stained disgusting, very disappointed I would advise you if staying here to check the bed before you sleep in it don’t think we will be returning any time soon I would normally have given a five star rating, but standards seem to have slipped which is a shame as it is a beautiful location.

Buses, Brixham and Bond

I now can't remember how many times we've stayed in the lighthouse apartment at Sunnybeach, but this was the latest in a long line of visits, and once again didn't disappoint. We arrived early on the first day, after a now very familiar drive from North Bucks, dumped the car in the on-site car park and set about the business of walking for 2mins to the main street and having a pint and some lunch, followed by a quick 5min stroll to the pier because, well, you have to, it's the seaside. The text then arrived to tell us the apartment was ready so we ambled back and unpacked. A sit down and a cup of tea later, and License To Kill came on the tele, which was particularly apt as will soon become clear. Then it was time for a quick hot shower and heading out to enjoy a bit of Paignton nightlife. Next day was glorious (for November), particularly waking up to a sea view. Some brek cooked in the apartment kitchen, then a 2min walk to the harbour and a sit down to take it all in, and it was time for the very short walk over to the bus station and a ride to Brixham for a look around the shops and market, a cheeky couple of pints, and a fish and chip lunch...come on, it's Brixham! Then a leisurely stroll back to the car park where the buses stop. After a chilled-out late afternoon mainly back at the apartment it was time to get on the bus to Torquay where we had tickets for the James Bond Spectacular concert at the Princess Theatre..the bus stops 2 or 3 mins walk along the seafront! After a great concert it was a short walk to catch the bus back (they run till the early hours!) and it was back to Sunnybeach for another lovely night's kip. Next morning saw us up and on the bus again, back to Torquay this time in the daylight, for some shopping, and of course a few drinkies...well we are on holiday! Back to Paignton in the afternoon for a bit of a seafront siesta at Sunnybeach, then a lovely Chinese from the Rickshaw Boy just by the harbour. After another night's peaceful sleep it was back to Brixham for a slightly more rainy repeat of the other day...there was some shopping and drinking we hadn't quite finished...and then back for our final night before packing up, enjoying one last sleep and heading off first thing next morning, which was the first time I'd touched the car since we arrived. We couldn't ask for more, apartment central to everywhere, right on the sea front, parking, seamless arrival/departure, spotless and lovely bathroom and kitchen facilities, not to mention the smart TV. This why we keep coming back here. Happy days!

Perfect for us and we've already booked again for 2024

Was our third time of staying in this apartment, and was just as high a standard as usual. We book because of the sea/harbour/beach/shops location, the sea view, the easy parking and the very straightforward check in/out. We prefer self catering, so the excellent kitchen facilities are spot-on for us. The cleanliness of the whole place way exceeds expectations. We've just booked for around the same time next year, and are looking at a couple of extra shorter visits in between. Can't go wrong with this place/company.

Great location!

Lovely cosy room in a great location. Check in/out is really straightforward. Great location for the beach and the zoo.
