This was a highlight of our trip! It's a dreamy landing spot, close enough to see much of Skye. 5 minutes to Eileen Donan castle. Dinner in Dornie, 5 minutes. Well equipped kitchen and a good co-op in Kyle. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, even leaving us goodies when we arrived. Be aware that the GPS code will only get you so far...go ahead and enter the left-hand drive marked "private, no turning." It's at the top!

Paradise in Scotland

Magical stay! Stunning location. Peaceful. Tranquil. Excellent home design. Hot tub, living area and bedrooms all face view below. Worth every penny! Close to Skye and Eileen Donan Castle. Wonderful host. Best place in Scotland by far!

Awesome views

Fantastic property. Absolutely stunning location and very kind hosts. You have to see the view to believe it ! Bakery bread and Prosecco to welcome us. Had a really enjoyable stay and would love to return.

Just WOW!

The perfect place to unwind, relax and breathe. Also a great central location for outings to Skye and surrounding Highland areas, like Plockton and Glen Shiel. The property itself has everything you may need and a view that can’t be beat! Oh, and that hot tub!!! So amazing in every way. Karen and her family go above and beyond to be sure all your needs are met. Karen went out of her way to find us a basket for our vow renewal, so sweet. We loved, loved every minute there!

Best part about the trip

We stayed at Karen's place for ~4 days as our base for our isle of skye babymoon. It's kind of outside the island which was perfect because it was peaceful, not touristy and really just what we needed. We traveled to Scotland for the hiking so we had planned to be out everyday. Next time we come back, we will definitely stay here again and will plan a few days to just stay in and take in the beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere
