Villa Francisco

A 10 minutos caminando de Frigiliana, a través de un camino de montaña un poco aventurero.



No de la vuelta cuando conduzca hacia esta villa por primera vez. Se tarda un poco en llegar en coche pero el viaje merece la pena! Una vez aquí, el propietario le explicará cómo llegar a Frigiliana en 10 minutos caminando a través de un camino de campo un poco aventurero. Las vistas y la tranquilidad son excepcionales, y el interior de la casa combina un mobiliario confortable con una decoración de buen gusto. Éste es uno de esos lugares donde te sientes como en casa estando lejos de ella.







Situación y exteriores



Esta villa de nueva construcción está situada en una colina frente al pueblo blanco de Frigiliana, rodeada de árboles de aguacate, y disfrutando de una ubicación muy tranquila. La zona exterior, con una barbacoa de obra y una piscina de buen tamaño (7m x 4m) con escalones romanos, se encuentra en un nivel superior a la casa y hay mucho espacio para tomar el sol mientras se disfruta de las impresionantes vistas sobre el campo y el pueblo. Dispone de tumbonas para esta zona. Junto a la sala de estar hay otra terraza para aquellos que buscan la sombra, provista de todo lo necesario para comer al aire libre, y desde la que también se tienen vistas. En coche, a la villa se accede por un camino de hormigón que tomamos desde la carretera de Frigiliana - Torrox, con algunos tramos empinados. Aunque no hay muchas curvas, le recomendamos utilizar un coche con al menos un motor de 1.400 cc.







Frigiliana (3,5 km) está aproximadamente a 5 minutos en coche, sin embargo, si usted prefiere dar a su coche unas vacaciones, hay un camino de campo un poco aventurero hasta el pueblo que está a sólo 10 minutos a pie (se necesitan buenos zapatos y se recomienda hacer sólo durante el día puesto que no está iluminado). La famosa playa de Nerja y su ciudad están a sólo 10 km de distancia, unos 15 minutos en coche.







Interior y distribución



La zona de salón / comedor / cocina se organiza en un espacio abierto, confortable y acogedor, y disfruta de vistas a Frigiliana, con dos ventanales que dan acceso a una terraza cubierta. El salón tiene un sofá para 4 personas, chimenea, una mecedora, y está equipado con TV satélite y equipo de música. La cocina está totalmente equipada con nevera / congelador, vitrocerámica con 4 fuegos, microondas y lavavajillas. Los 3 dormitorios dobles (1 con cama de matrimonio y 2 con dos camas individuales respectivamente) están decorados en un estilo relajante con coloridas ropas de cama y bonitos cuadros. Hay un baño completo con bañera-ducha, lavabo y WC, y un cuarto de ducha con lavabo y WC. Una chimenea de leña y radiadores eléctricos movibles están disponibles para los días más fríos en temporada baja. La casa dispone de conexión a internet a través de WIFI (sin coste).

Fabulous villa with outstanding views

A great little villa just outside the charming village of Frigiliana. Fantastic facilities particularly the pool and outdoor bbq / kitchen area. We were a family group of 4 but it comfortably accommodates 6, well equipped main kitchen and a great terrace for dining. The views across the valley to Frigiliana were stunning especially when the sun was going down. The drive down the concrete track to the villa is fine for a regular car but is quite steep so be prepared.

(CONTINUE HERE)… The owner (Francisco) was around most mornings (early) cleaning and tending his fruit trees. Lovely man and a pleasure to chat to but he doesn’t speak English. Loads of wonderful places to eat in the village and if you want more then Nerja is about 15 minutes drive away. Good choice of big supermarkets. Lots of fridge and freezer space including a separate fridge freezer in the outside kitchen next to the pool, which was very handy. The outside kitchen was really handy and centers around a traditional Spanish BBQ. All in all a fantastic villa which we would happily recommend.

The villa had plenty of room for 6 adults and was equipped with everything we needed. Much has been said about the walk from the villa to town. It’s mostly on a dirt come concrete track. But half way you need to cross a short steep dry river bed. If we were wearing our uk hiking boots we wouldn’t blink but trying to negotiate this in summer gear and sandals was tricky. Us oldies managed it once. Our kids had no problems. Definitely not a night time walk. In the end easier to make the 10 minute drive! Villa and pool were spotless... (CONTINUE BELOW)

Home from home outside of Frigiliana

We spent 2 weeks at villa Francisco. The first with our adult children and their partners and the second just us a retired couple. Booking and communication with agent was very simple and helpful. Family holiday

The property was perfect, clean and exceptionally comfortable beds. Pool area stunning.However track to villa somewhat bumpy and dangerous at parts, especially when meeting oncoming vehicles. Description mentioned access but somewhat under described it.We are confident experienced drivers , this is not for the faint hearted. We never found the walking route to the village. We spoke no Spanish and were unable to communicate with the owner. Google translate was a step to far for him. So we were very disappointed as looked in vain for a passable route through the undergrowth to the village

Family holiday

We are a family of 4 with kids aged 14 & 11. The accommodation suited us perfectly, being all on one level. Spacious outside areas provided seating/lounging by the pool or on another terrace with stunning views in all directions. Good wifi and choice of english TV channels. The villa is maintained inside and out to a high standard by the lovely owners, who are on hand. Villa is well situated for accessing main roads for day trips and only a 10 minute drive to Neja and Burrianna Beach.

Fully prepared for the drive to the villa . Well worth the effort , the views are amazing from the pool terrace . The house has everything you would want and more . The area has a lot to offer especially a little village called El Acebuchal with a interesting history and a adventurous drive to it . The food at the one restaurant has a old fashion menu . Including rabbit , oxtail and wild boar . We found the beach at Torrox Costa better than Nerja due to the water quality . We have had a lovely 10 days holiday here . When we arrived at the villa and outside ...

When we arrived at the villa and outside areas were spotlessly clean. The villa is really well equipped for cooking meals, and the outside BBQ area was brilliant and we used it most days. Rooms were all really comfortable and had extra blankets etc if it got a bit cold. Communication was great throughout our stay, the pool was kept clean too which was really nice! Don't let the drive down put you off, it's wide and concrete, and you soon get used to it. Walking down into Frigiliana across the valley is a good walk during the day but you couldn't do it at night. Frigiliana is absolutely stunning and has great bars, shops and restaurants and is really authentic. Overall our stay here has been the best villa holiday we've had in Spain and would highly recommend!

Fantastic villa, well kitted out with a nice view of frigliana. Very comfortable and exceedingly clean. Price seemed a little steep for September but weather was still fantastic. Ultimately weak pound and market rates probably more responsible for this than villa owner!

A beautiful villa in a beautiful location. Yes, the driveway is challenging when you first arrive but you soon get used to it, and it means the villa is right in the heart of the valley with gorgeous views across to Frigiliana (in the day, you can even walk across the valley into town!). Paco, the owner, was very friendly, I just wish I could speak better Spanish to tell him how lovely his villa is and how amazingly clean and well looked after it is.

Sehr schönes Haus, großer schöner Pool, schön und bequem eingerichtet. Eines der schönsten Häuser in denen ich bisher war. Hat Moskito Screens, was ich toll finde. Es liegt etwas abseits. Die Gehentfernung zum Dorf ist eher 30 Minuten und um Dunklen nicht machbar, aber wenn man sich an die Anfahrt gewöhnt hat ist es auch mit den Auto kein Problem unterwegs zu sein.

Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Villa Francisco in Frigiliana. De routebeschrijving was duidelijk, de ontvangst ter plaatse was hartelijk. Het huis was ruim en bijzonder compleet ingericht. Het uitzicht vanuit het huis verveelde geen moment en van het zwembad hebben we erg genoten. En inderdaad konden we lopen naar Frigiliana; zelfs in het donker durfden we het aan. Kortom: een zeer geslaagde vakantie! Bedankt, en, wie weet, willen we volgend jaar weer!

Villa Francisco is a perfect place to have ...

Villa Francisco is a perfect place to have peaceful and relaxing vacation. The location is great. You are only 10 min walk away from the village of Frigiliana, but still in perfect privacy and away from the rush. The private pool area with attached barbecue gives more value to Villa. We had many nice evenings sitting close to the pool, having barbecue, and admiring the beautiful scenery of the valley and the village! We met the owner every now and then while he came to attend his avocado and mango trees, which surrounded the Villa. He was very helpful and kind. Inside the Villa there is everything there needs to be. We made food mostly ourselves, and kitchen was well equipped, Wi-Fi works and TV as well. Two bathrooms with showers is a luxury! You can even play table tennis on the ground floor a terrace :) The only thing that was not so nice, was the road. It takes 15 minutes by car from Frigiliana to villa. At the first time, the last 800 meters down to the villa is a real adventure,

We so enjoyed our stay at this villa. It was peaceful and idyllic. What a fantastic position looking over to Frigiliana. The villa is beautifully furnished and of a high standard. The pool is lovely and clean and the outdoor kitchen is perfect for a family gathering around the pool. The various places to sit outdoors at the villas are perfect, if you want the sun or shade there is always somewhere to tuck yourself away with a good book. It's perfect for a peaceful holiday if you like to be off the beaten track.

Nous avons habité cette magnifique propriété du 18 mai au 1er juin 2019. La température était exceptionnelle pour des Québécois qui ont plutôt l'habitude des printemps incertains. 6 adultes y cohabitent sans contrainte avec plaisir. La maison est très bien équipée et des terrasses extérieures partiellement recouvertes permettent de se prélasser en tout temps ou d'y festoyer. Paco et sa femme Loli sont très attentionnés et gentils. On nous offre les avocats, les citrons et les nispéros qui poussent sur la propriété. Miam! Tous les équipements fonctionnent, les moustiquaires sont à chaque fenêtre, les ouvertures sont bien sécurisées et il y a amplement de stationnement. On décrit que la route d'accès au gîte est abrupte. En effet, c'est très montagnard mais on s'y fait. C'est très étroit, pentu, et cahoteux. Ça prend la puissance de voiture recommandée et si la garde au sol est basse, (nous avions une Mercedes B200), il faut aller lentement pour ne pas frotter le sol. Cependant, cette pe

A beautiful villa in a beautiful location. Exceptional Location for Views of real Spain

Once you've negotiated your hire car down the 'rollercoaster' of a concrete track which leads to this beautiful villa you will arrive at a superb place. The missus and I took our 3 kids (13,10,4) and they loved it. The sleeping quarters are quite close together and within ear shot of the living room (all on same level) and the two bathrooms avoided the B4bed routine dramas we have at home. The terrace balcony is in shade for the afternoon lending itself to the ideal spot for a reading area while the kids go crazy in the pool. The BBQ area is excellent and fully equipped with huge fridge freezer and large cooking area with sink. The rest of the villa seems to have everything for all needs with nothing missing from the kitchen at all. Aircon throughout is so good that you'll need to turn it off at times. Great range to Nerja which has absolutely everything a family holiday needs but also within easy reach of Malaga, Torromolinos and Marbella. Well worth a visit. Only reasons for 4 in stead of 5 stars is the concrete track down to the villa and lack of at least one English Sports and or Entertainment channel for the massive TV for Mum and Dad to watch while the kids are in bed. Very quiet at night, ideal for family stay, we'll be going back I'm sure.

This villa is owned by good friends, Francisco and Loli, who don't speak much English. That's why we agreed I would be in charge of the bookings and they will take care of you upon arrival. Francisco and Loli are very friendly and will do their very best to make you feel at home!
