Located just a few minutes\' walk off the famous golf course and skiing area Mont d’ Arbois, this child-friendly holiday apartment offers up to 5 guests, the perfect alpine base to relax as well as enjoy the best of Megève. The first-floor apartment is located in a delightfully peaceful and sunny location, with a lovely balcony with open-air seating overlooking the magnificent French alps. The interiors of the 2-bedroom rental are also reminiscent of the typical alpine style with wood panelling all over and an open living room centred around a fireplace. This family room is further furnished with a large comfy sofa, dining table and direct access to the balcony through glass doors. To facilitate an essentially carefree stay, the fully integrated kitchen comes with a Nespresso machine, a dishwasher, microwave, oven, fridge and toaster.

Free Wi-Fi, a washing machine are available for added convenience. For entertainment, there is a flat-screen Smart TV, a books library and an iPod docking station.

Location

Megeve is a happening year-round destination, where guests can enjoy a number of sports like skiing, snow-showing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding and even golfing. The holiday apartment is an ideal base, located in a residential zone of Megeve with a traditional restaurant and an ice cream shop close by. The cable car to one of the main ski resorts of Megeve, Mont d’ Arbois, and the golf course (golf is the perfect summertime sport) is about a 15-minute walk from here.

The town centre, with Megeve’s 1000-year-old church of Saint Jean Baptiste, is a 20-minute walk away: here guests will also find Megeve’s Michelin star restaurants and some refined apres ski bars to enjoy. For those who want to soak up the charm of this 100-year-old ski destination, there are horse-drawn sleighs and traditional Friday markets around the town centre. A recreation centre, with a swimming pool, water rides and more is also about the same distance as the centre and is the ideal escape for families with children.

Those who want to enjoy Chamonix’s famed Aiguille du Midi slopes are just a 30-minute drive from the resort. From the holiday home, Geneva Airport is an 80-minute drive away.
