Exceptional 2 Bedroom Home Cinema Apartment in South Kensington

Welcome to this outstanding 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment presented with a stunning Home Cinema system and 4 meter/13ft high ceilings throughout in the heart of South Kensington.

The apartment is well-arranged, proportioned and presented in immaculate condition throughout, with stylish décor and interior touches makings it a comfortable place to call your home away from home.

Of particular note is the magnificent drawing room with approximately 4 metre/13ft high ceilings and a large bay window that provides excellent natural light, along with gorgeous original oak parquet floor. The ceiling height extends into the master bedroom suite that is quietly situated at the rear of the property.

The kitchen has all the modern appliances needed to cook delicious meals at home and the dining table seats comfortably on leather chairs.

The master bedroom is opulent in size and has a super comfortable SuperKing size bed with white linens and extended storage/wardrobe space. Blackout blinds keep the room dark at night and the en-suite bathroom has a very generous standing shower.

The second bedroom features a double bed and black out blinds with a second bathroom containing a bathtub.

The apartment is located in Kensington, that is absolutely affluent and incredibly central, being a great base for exploring London on foot. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are on your doorstep, and so are the Victoria and Albert, Science, and Natural History Museums. The streets are attractive and well maintained (grand, white stucco facades aplenty), and your neighbours will be a wealthy, conservative set.

Ideally located between South Kensington and Gloucester Road Tube stations, which are only 7min walk away from the apartment, granting quick access to all corners of the city.

You will also be connected directly with London Heathrow airport thanks to the Piccadilly line which ends directly in the large airport. Otherwise Heathrow Airport is only 30min taxi ride without traffic.

Second time staying here. Host very responsive.Spacious and near everything you need. Could use the second bath more if they mount the showerhead. Clothes dryer doesn’t work.Still, would stay here again. Lovely neighborhood.

Vania was/is a fabulous property manager. He was exceptionally responsive to our questions and very helpful with all aspects of our stay in his beautiful flat. The neighborhood is exceptional, just a short walk from the tube station. We had a great stay. Thanks Vania.

Fantastic stay in the heart of South Kensington

This apartment is a fantastic choice – The living room has 13ft high foot ceilings and a large bay window that floods the space with natural light, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring London. The master bedroom is a true retreat, featuring a great Superking size bed and a lot of closet space, while the second bedroom is equipped with a cozy Queen size bed. The location of the apartment could not be better, as it's right between South Kensington and Gloucester Road tube stations, the city’s attractions are within easy reach. We loved being so close to kensington gardens and hyde park. We left feeling completely spoiled and look forward to our next visit! Thank you Vania for being such a great host.

Lovely Christmas Stay

The living room/dining room is spacious and beautiful with very high ceilings. We really enjoyed the big projector screen tv. Kitchen was small though ok for us as we prefer to eat out but could use some things such as salt and cookie sheets. Washing machine worked fine but dryer mode did not work which was disappointing as we had laundry to do. Master bedroom was spacious but WiFi signal did not reach it, so that tv didn’t work. Could use a WiFi booster.Second bedroom was quite small and that bathroom only had a bathtub. Could use some new towels and washcloths.Really enjoyed the neighborhood with all its shops, nail salon, restaurants etc. and easy walk to the tube station.Host very easy to reach and responds quickly.All in all a great stay and we would consider staying there again.

Okay, not great for four adults

The second bedroom in this flat is extremely small. While the photos do show it as cramped, the reality is worse. It is difficult to get out of bed without burning oneself on the radiator. In addition, there is almost no storage space in the room for clothes - the only closet is taken up with extra towels and other supplies placed by the owner. It is really not suitable for a second adult couple for any length of time. The shower in the second bath (which you can see in a couple of photographs) is not an overhead shower. It is handheld, and goes off when you put it down. Additionally, the sides of the tub are very high, so one must be extremely careful getting in and out. Again, this is of questionable utility for adults, particularly older adults. On the positive side, the location is great, with a tube stop about an 8 minute walk and lots of grocery shopping and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed that as well as the large living area. The owner was kind enough to leave us a couple of bottles of wine as well. The master bedroom, as noted in the property summary, is large and well-appointed.

I am sorry to hear you were not fully satistfied with your stay at the flat. I have to say I am somewhat surprised as this would be the first time that a guest is displeased. I wish that you had expressed some of your concerns earlier during your stay as I would have been happy to provide some solutions to your feedback in a timely manner. I strive to present the apartment as accurately as possible through our photographs and descriptions, and regret any inconvenience you experienced. I will reassess the storage options in this room to make it more comfortable for future guests. I am glad to hear that the location of the apartment and the spaciousness of the living areas met your expectations, and that you enjoyed the local amenities and the wines provided. It is always my goal to ensure our guests have a pleasant stay.
