Orchard Barn offers a couple the perfect romantic retreat, including a new Spa Barn with hot tub and sauna, for your exclusive use during your stay. Orchard Barn is spacious, detached and oak framed, set in a large garden with pretty woodlands. It has a stunning double height ceiling, giving a truly romantic feel. The cottage is equipped to meet all your needs, from luxurious white linen by Beaumont & Brown, to robes for the spa. I aim to ensure that all my guests have a truly memorable stay.
The space
At Orchard Barn guests will find a truly beautiful barn conversion, set within stunning rural grounds. A Spa Barn was created for guests at the end of 2022 and includes a large, luxurious hot tub and sauna. The Barn is fitted with large patio doors, so guests can enjoy fresh air in the spa or keep the doors closed for an even more romantic experience. A professional sports masseuse can be arranged to further enhance your stay. The Spa Barn is adjacent to Orchard Barn and Crocs and bath robes are provided. An outdoor table tennis table can also be set up for you with bats and balls available.

The Spa Barn also includes a utility room with space to store bikes, paddle boards, fishing gear etc and provides a washing machine and separate tumble drier.

In Orchard Barn most amenities are available, including: oven, ceramic hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, and a fully equipped kitchen. Fresh milk, tea, coffee and cake await your arrival.

The living and dining area comprises a large, comfortable, modern Chesterfield style sofa, relaxing luxurious arm chairs, a large farmhouse table and chairs, a coffee table, TV, Sky Streaming and fibre internet/wifi.

The property also features a king size bed with luxurious white linen by Beaumont & Brown, bath robes and towels for the spa, a shower room (with power shower and a range of luxury toiletries) and towels, travel cot and high chair (as required), hair dryer, ironing facilities etc. The open plan upstairs area has an antique desk to provide a separate, unique space for you to read or work during your stay.

The Barn has French windows leading to an outside table and chairs with parasol and a chiminea set with logs - perfect for toasting marshmallows! New Forest walking and cycling books are available, and an extensive local area information guide is provided. The Barn has its own wicker basket picnic set.

A bridleway and footpath start only 100m up the lane and Fordingbridge, with it’s restaurants, pubs, shops and river is a mile away by foot through the countryside. Orchard Barn is also a mile from the village shop, 1.5 miles from our local pub (with excellent food), borders the beautiful New Forest (3.5 miles) and is around 25 miles from the sea and beautiful sandy beaches at Bournemouth.

Ample secure parking is available at the property, large vehicles, trailers and boats can be accommodated by prior arrangement.

Chris made us very welcome at the barn. It was all the added touches that were very appreciated. The barn was lovely and warm, a comfy bed and everything we needed. Primarily the reason for our visit was time out and relaxation. The hot tub and sauna were superb and made our visit very special. Chris was very informative and welcoming on arrival. The accommodation was fantastic—the open-plan layout really added to the charm of the barn. It was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.The separate Spa Barn, just a couple of metres away, was outstanding. The jacuzzi was perfectly hot and spotlessly clean, as was the sauna, which also had built-in Bluetooth speakers and a comfortable seating area—a great touch.The location felt private and remote, yet it was only a two-minute drive to the local village shop, which was ideal.We will definitely be back.

Orchard Barn Spa is located in beautiful, idyllic, secluded countryside. The accommodation is outstanding, with everything you need for a perfect stay. We bumped into the host Chris twice who is very attentive, friendly and a really nice guy. We made great use of the spa in the evenings to relax after a days exploring. Much-needed break

Chris’ place is just outside New Forest and is clean and well-kept, with everything you need for a short stay, with the added bonus of its own spa! For two new parents, that was a massive plus. Chris was very welcoming, left us to our own devices and was always on hand if we needed anything. Would recommend to anyone wanting to explore the forest

Fantastic Beautiful Spa Barn

We had such a lovely stay at this Beautiful Barn. My Fiancé and I had such a peaceful stay! Chris is such a kind and lovely man. Everything was just perfect! I truly can’t recommend this lovely little getaway enough to people! The Hot Tub was lovely and warm! We were greeted with a lovely smile and shown around. 100/100 in our eyes!

I have spent 20 years visiting the New Forrest for holidays and I wish I had found this place before, it is a gem. The owner Chris was extremely welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and accomodating. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked another stay for later on this year while we were there. I cannot recommend this location highly enough.

Fantastic relaxing weekend

Really beautiful location and nicely presented, we were looking for a quiet getaway and got exactly that. The exclusive spa was wonderful and we were offered to book a relaxing massage from Alice a friend of the host, this was very much enjoyed and a nice touch. Chris the host is very kind and courteous. Perfect spot for a relaxing couples getaway.

We had the best and most relaxing weekend here! The property is beautiful and cosy and well equipped. Exactly as described in the description. The hot tub and sauna room is a fabulous addition and very relaxing. Just what the Dr ordered for a break from city life. Chris is a fabulous host and was available to answer any questions we had or provide lots of suggestions for things to do in the area. There's lots of great trails and Fordingbridge with pubs and restaurants is a short walk away. We will definitely be back again!

A fabulous place to stay.

Beautiful barn, amazing hot tub and sauna. Nothing at all left out in the property and everything is of an amazing standard. Host is super, left us alone but is on hand if needed. The only down side is not really walking distance to a pub but we knew this before we booked. So easy to get to places though by car. We visited Salisbury, Ringwood, Burley (cycled round the new forest) and of course Fordingbridge. Would definitely return. Perfect venue.

Very nicely appointed. Very quiet other than occasional road noise - you can certainly hear the wildlife outside of the barn. The night sky was very clear and with relatively low light pollution (from a city dwellers point of view) so a lot more stars visible. Kitchen area is somewhat small - plenty enough for cooking for two unless you plan on doing something pretty complicated. Spa barn was very nice and usable irrespective of weather.

Relaxing and Peaceful

The property was perfect for us. It was clean, tidy and well laid out. It had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The bed was super comfortable (I slept better than i usually do at home!). We had sole use of the hot tub and sauna during our stay, and even had use of laundry facilities if we needed it. It was such a quiet and peaceful place, we enjoyed sitting out in the evening, with the chimenea on for extra warmth. The property owner was very friendly and easy to talk to. He offered some good local knowledge and recommended local places to visit. We were very happy with our time at Orchard Barn Spa and look forward to returning for another short break soon.

Somewhere special

What a beautiful Barn and Spa setting, easy to find using the owners directions (satnav was good to a point). It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. Communicating with Chris was effortless and he also offered some good recommendations regarding where to go, especially restaurants. The Three Lions was just perfect, thanks Chris. Orchard Barn has everything you need to make it a relaxing holiday. There is so much to see and do in the surrounding areas you are spoilt for choice as you can do as much or as little as you like (we ran out of time though!) The weather was great too apart from 1 day but If the local sightseeing gets too much, you can simply chill out in your exclusive spa and sauna. The separate building that housed these was great and we loved the fairy lights as it gave a very relaxing atmosphere in the evening. Both the Hot tub and sauna was used quite a lot (especially on the 1 wet day we had). The Barn is very spacious for 2 people and if you like to cook like I do then there’s just about enough equipment to whip up a meal or two! We absolutely loved this place and will return when next down South. Thanks again Chris.

Mooi ingericht en net verblijf, vlakbij New Forest waar je heerlijk kunt fietsen en wandelen. Na afloop heerlijk ontspannen in de spa. Gastheer Chris is erg gastvrij en aardig en stond voor ons klaar. Heel attent zijn die kleine dingen als een lekker taartje, de pint of milk, verse bloemen en een lief welkomst kaartje. Al met al een echte aanrader.

I have enjoyed welcoming guests to Orchard Barn for the past 8 years, I am a keen cyclist - on both road and mountain bikes. I paddleboard regularly and also compete in motorsport.

Why they chose this property

I bought Orchard House in 2016 as a large, historic renovation project. The first building to be renovated was Orchard Barn and the final stage of this conversion has just been completed in autumn 2022 with the repurposing of an outbuilding into a Spa Barn with a large hot tub and sauna exclusively for guests' use during your stay. A professional sports masseuse is also available to visit the barn and provides massages as well as facials.

What makes this property unique

A beautiful, unique and spacious oak framed barn. A separate, but adjacent, Spa Barn with 5 seater hot tub and sauna for your sole use. Unusually, the hot tub is indoors but with large patio doors to provide the best of both worlds! The large grounds are a key feature of the property, around 3.5 acres of paddocks, lawns and woodlands including several ponds and a wide variety of visiting wildlife from deer, to badgers, otters and red kites to buzzards...
