Surrounded by the nature of the Val Pedogna, near the natural park of the Alpi Apuane, in a secluded and quiet position, the Residence “Ai Sorbi” is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The entire property has been recently renovated and equipped with elegant furniture, with the typical Tuscan architecture mixed up with a modern style. The owner Andrea Salvetti is an artist who built this home with the help of some of the best designers (E.Sottsass, G.Pesce,A.Ciffo etc.). Moreover, the position of the house is really perfect, since it is surrounded by the nature of a valley but 22 km away from Lucca and 35 km away from the sea. You can easily reach the Garfagnana, with its typical products (porcino mushrooms, chestnuts flour and hulled wheat), as well as Pisa, Florence, Siena and other Tuscan destinations. The stone swimming pool is 13x6 m and you can get to the property through 500 m of a paved road.

Fabulous property. Beautiful gardens. Wonderful outdoor cooking and dining area. Quiet and surrounded by nature...loved it...would love to come back again. Easy distance from pisa, lucca and florence. Plus moutains and beach.

Heaven on earth

The fresh mountain air, the lovely house with terrace overviewing the valley. The swimming pool surrounded with chill beds... it was perfect for us.

Perfect accommodation to relax in the nature!

We njoyed it so intensely the house is perfect and has got everything you need. It is far much better than on the photo’s. With 4 adults there is enough space also sit somewhere else and have a moment of private space. The area outside with the table is a real good place to njoy lunch, dinner and to play games. We have seen a lot of wild life as well. The swimming pool is great also the sit and lay down. We had the privilege that the other house was not rented. But even if it was you have more than enough privacy. The garden is well maintained. Patrizia is a great host. The house has more than a personal though and it a beautiful that all the art is made with love and passion.

Tuscany Hills

A lovely comfortable villa in the Tuscan hills filled with birdsong. Super pool and possibility to walk along an old track through the trees. 40 mins to wonderful town of Lucca. Local restaurants. Small to medium car essential. Very peaceful and beautiful views.

Very nice and beautiful place

We have a very great holiday time on this little „farm house“. It was quite and the view down into the Valley fantastic! The pool was clean and large. We can use the outside kitchen with a pizza oven and the barbecue. Wonderful! The equipment in the house is completely sufficient. But the fridge could be bigger for 4 adult person and the Wi-Fi is a little bit slow.

Perfect holiday house

We were so lucky to spend our two-week holiday at Serore, residenza Castagno. The house was very clean and very well maintained and the furnishing of the house was very charming - especially thanks to Andrea and his art pieces. The swimming pool is in a league of its own! It is huge and clean - simply just perfect. It is also very well-organised that each family has its own sun bathing area by the pool. Patrizia and Andrea were perfect hosts - very discrete, but always willing to help. We can definitely recommend this property to everyone - and we will be back!

Early summer holiday in Tuscany

The stay in the holiday apartment in Serore was very pleasant. A place located in the mountains, a beautiful location overlooking the mountains and the valley. Access to the apartment via a dirt road at the end is demanding. Peace and quiet, proximity to nature allows you to rest and relax. The place is perfect for stationary rest. The swimming pool is perfectly maintained, as is the barbecue and outdoor area. The apartment is decorated with taste and an artistic look. The bedrooms are spacious, bright, with a beautiful view of the valley. The house is equipped with all necessary equipment and devices. Stylish furniture and modern accessories create a unique atmosphere. The apartment has wifi, but the range and signal strength is sometimes weaker. The discreet presence of the co-residents of the neighboring apartment is imperceptible.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Anwesen, nicht ganz einfach erreichbar, über eine enge Straße gelangt man zum Anwesen, dass letzte Stück etwa 500 m ist ein sehr holpriger Feldweg, mit tiefer gelegtem Auto nicht machbar. Mitten im Wald und einsam, so wie wir es lieben. Leider haben wir die erste Woche nachts wegen 10 Std. Hundegebell von etlichen Hunden aus einem Dorf im Wald nicht schlafen können, die 2. Woche war nichts mehr zu hören.Leider war das Haus

Die Location ist super , die Ruhe und Atmosphäre am Berg ist ein Traum.Die Famile, die nebenan auf dem Grundstück wohnt ist super sympathisch, genauso wie die Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns in allen Belangen schnell via WhatsApp unterstützt Lediglich die Ausstattung der Küchenutensilien könnte etwas besser sein, da wir sehr viel selbst kochen. Gerne wieder!

Wir waren mit 5 Personen und unserem Hund hier und hatten eine phanastische Woche. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt, es fehlt an nichts. Ganz besonders gut hat uns der große Pool und der gesamte Außenbereich gefallen. Wir sind leider erst spät im Dunkeln angekommen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall empfehlen, bei Tageslicht anzukommen, da das letzte Teilstück zum Haus nicht asphaltiert ist um die Schlaglöcher besser sehen zu können. Ist aber gut machbar. Patrizia ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, die uns kurz vor Anreise mit allen nötigen Infos und Tipps versorgt hat. Sie ist super hilfsbereit wie auch die Nachbarn Sauro und Alessia. Eine klare Empfehlung und wir planen definitiv, wiederzukommen. 1000 Dank für alles !

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in Serore! Die Lage ist traumhaft – direkt in den Bergen oberhalb von Lucca, mit herrlicher Aussicht und absoluter Ruhe. Besonders genossen haben wir den großen Pool, der perfekt zum Entspannen und Erfrischen ist. Das Haus selbst ist sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sodass man sich sofort willkommen und wohl fühlt. Die Kommunikation mit Patrizia war jederzeit unkompliziert und äußerst hilfreich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können Serore uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Wir sind dort als Familie mit zwei Kindern angereist. Es war alles perfekt vorbereitet. Patrizia und ihre Freundin, die im Nachbarhaus wohnt, waren sehr nett und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist absolut sauber und modern eingerichtet. Der Pool ist groß und die Liegen perfekt. Man hat seinen eigenen Bereich. Ich empfehle es auf jeden Fall weiter.
