Luxury villa in Praia del Rey - private heated pool & sea view

THE VILLA
Our detached villa is an attractive modern, bright and spacious home which is new to rental market. The property has been designed to be in perfect harmony with its surroundings; warm shades of terracotta and pastel shade furnishings that echo the typical style of Portuguese interior architecture.

There is a large sitting room which is ideal for the whole to relax. There is also a fully equipped kitchen and dining room which is suitable for any family or large group staying at the villa. There are two separate French patio doors opening out from the sitting room to the sunny poolside. Outside there is a solar heated pool, beautiful landscaped garden, dining tables and sunbeds where guests can dine, relax and soak up the sunshine.

There are 4 large bedrooms (sleeping 8 comfortably) with 3 ensuite. The ground floor has two bedrooms, one with twin beds (and cots if required) while the second is a large ensuite double bedroom with French patio doors opening out to the poolside. In addition, there is a family bathroom on the ground floor.

Upstairs there are two additional bedrooms. The very spacious master bedroom, with a king sized bed, has French patio doors opening onto a large balcony overlooking the pool with spectacular views of the golf course and the sea. It also has a dressing room area and a large bathroom (bath and shower), double his/her vanity sinks, bidet and separate wc. The second bedroom is a double room with ample wardrobe space and an ensuite and access to the balcony with a seaview. We also have a study upstairs with beautiful views of the sea while you work or relax. The large balcony can used for relation or drinks with views of the golf course and sea.
Wifi and cable television is provided free of charge. Unfortunately, we can’t accept pets due to allergy issues with one of the the owners

Both the beach and the Praia del Rey golf course and practice facilities are a 5 minute walk from the villa.

THE RESORT
Praia del Rey is located on the Portuguese western coastline 100km north of Lisbon. This stunning coastline has beautiful sandy beaches and an area of protected natural landscapes. The local villages are unspoilt and visitors are welcomed by the local community. There are ample restaurants catering to everyone's taste from fine dining to casual good value wholesome local fresh cuisine.

Our villa is situated in this five star Marriott resort which boasts magnificent sporting and relaxation amenities for families, groups and individuals.
The Praia del Rey 18 hole par 72 links golf course (designed by the American architect Cabell B. Robinson) presents tremendous challenges for both the advanced golfer and high-handicapped player. This magnificent golf course is considered to be one of the finest in Europe. Some of the fairways offer stunning sea views over the Portuguese Atlantic coastline while others provide a variety of challenges to keep the golfing enthusiasts coming back again and again!
There are a number of additional golf courses within a few minutes drive. Royal Obidos (designed by Seve Ballesteros), West Cliffs Links Cousrse and Bom Sucesso Golf Course are 18 hole championship courses.

There is a tennis club within a few minutes walk from the villa. The tennis academy provides seven courts and equipment may be hired in the clubhouse. There is coaching available for adults and kids during the summer months.
Praia del Rey resort also provides a range of activities such as childrens' play grounds, walking and cycling tracks, magnificent spa treatments, gym facilities and yoga to keep all the family occupied during their stay in Praia del Rey.

Within a 10 minute drive windsurfing and sailing is available in Obidos at the lagoon. There is also a large surfing community with lessons available and equipment hire in nearby Baleal. Karting is also available in Baleal and there is a water slide park in Peniche.
