Anchor Cottage, Seahouses, Northumberland, sleeps six guests in three bedrooms.
Anchor Cottage is a fabulous spacious family property set in the heart of Seahouses benefitting from private parking. This cosy, dog friendly property is ideal for a break any time of the year. Just a short stroll from the village centre there are plenty of amenities including cafĂ©s, restaurants and local pubs where you can enjoy live entertainment at weekends. A few minutesâ walk away are the sandy beaches where you can wander north to Bamburgh or head south to the fishing village of Beadnell.

GROUND FLOOR
Entrance hall with stairs leading to the first floor.
Lounge with comfy seating, Smart TV, and open fire.
Dining room / snug with sofa, Smart TV, open fire and dining table and chairs.
Kitchen with brand new electric Rangemaster classic double oven (Nov 23), dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother (please bring own capsules)
Cloakroom with WC and basin.
Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and sink with access to the rear.
FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom 1 with King size zip-link bed that can be set up as a twin on request, dresser and wardrobe.
Bedroom 2 with two single beds (can be set as king size bed on request) and wardrobe.
Bedroom 3 with double bed.
Family bathroom with roll-top bath, large walk-in shower, WC,Vanity storage unit, basin and heated towel rail.
OTHER FACILITIES
Private parking for up to 2 cars. Small enclosed courtyard garden to the rear with Webber BBQ. Oil central heating. All power, linen and towels included in the rent. Starter pack for open fire provided. 1 well behaved dog welcome. Ocean Leisure Club Membership (Entrance fee payable). Property only accepts short breaks starting Monday or Friday. Please Note: Short stays not accepted during Peak/Holiday dates (Xmas/New Year are exceptions to this rule).

Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few.
